Overall, a good hotel with a good breakfast, located a 10-minute walk from the city centre and one minute from the train station. Clean room, comfortable bed, but a very small pillow.”

Excellent location. The Old Town is 5-7 minutes away by walking. All the public transport you may need is 50 m from the main entrance, the railway station is just across the street (but there was no any noise from trains). Absolutely no problem with getting straight from the airport and back with public transport (bus) at the day and night time (at the day time bus nr 210, at night nr N3 that departs every hour).
Our room was tidy clean. We had everything we needed (bottled water, kettle, tee/coffee) in our room. Bed was comfortable, air conditioning worked perfectly fine. I use my own manual wheelchair and for the accessibility and facilities I would say it even exceeded my expectations (bed, bathroom etc.). It all was just so right and comfortable to use.
Hotel staff is very friendly and always there to help and advice.
Breakfast was excellent - no lobsters ;) , but everyone certainly finds good quality food by their own taste. There's very much to choose from. In the afternoon and in the evening there is a restaurant with decent menu and good prices.
It's an absolute no brainer if you're looking for a great "value for money stay" in Gdańsk.
I promise I've tried to find something I didn't like about Scandic Hotel Gdańsk but I could not find anything. And I'm glad I couldn't. Thank you!

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The rooms were beautiful, clean, and very comfortable, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious.
I would especially like to thank the hotel team for their kindness and help after our stay. We accidentally left an important personal item behind, and the staff very kindly helped us by arranging shipment of the parcel. Their support and professionalism meant a lot to us.
Truly excellent service and very caring people. Highly recommended!

Location was good and breakfast was very good.
In our room not working air conditioner and in reception they say it’s normal. While we was in room resting workers was cleaning windows laughing and smoking.In reception staff when we was talking hardly understood English language and not was helpful.

Very near to train station and walking distance to old town (about 20mins). There is a 24hrs pharmacy. Room is clean but pillow is too thin.
Free water only have sparkling choice. It will be good to have a sparkling and still. But not an issue.

The room did NOT have carpets but laminate flooring which is far more hygienic!
You could open the window and, hence, switch off the air conditioning which is always a bonus.
Breakfast was good, especially the scrambled eggs with chives were brilliant.
The location, right by the Old Town and opposite the main railways station was excellent, as we did two day trips by rail and were by the station in exactly 2 minutes!
Our room faced the backyard, which was great duringthe week-end. On monday morning, though, delivery vans arrived since 3 am to unload their goods to the hotel and woke us up. The delivery vans continued throughout the morning and as we were in a room on the first floor, were quite noisy.
