The room was very clean and cozy.
Location is perfect, right on the main square.
The beds are quite short for taller guests, and the mattress and pillows could use a bit more comfort.

The location, just right next to the popular Neptune Fountain in the historical heart of the city - impossible to get better than this. It's a XVI century building. The room was very cozy and cute with a warmth feeling to it, with a kind of vintage decor. Super clean and tidy. Very friendly staff.
Early check out! Maybe its just me but 10am it's early! But it's a minor complaint.

Honestly, this was our first hotel on our trip across Poland and the best. The location is without a doubt unbeatable. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The room itself has ample room as well.
Just note, we didn't see an elevator. It's a very old building so this is to be expected, but if you have large luggage just be aware. Not really a complaint here.

We truly enjoyed very friendly staff of the Dom Shumannów. It is in a perfect location right in the center of the Gdańsk old town. Our room had a beautiful view of the Długi Targ. We liked the entire experience of the historical house.
Since the house is an historic landmark, there are limitations on the contemporary comforts. This is not a luxury hotel, but for us the historical character of the place was charming.

Excellent location in the heart of Gdansk Rynek. Ancient building and design is adapted to the age of building, it's interesting. Friendly staff that waited for my arrival late in the evening.

The best possible location in the historic centre within a short distance of the cathedral, many museums and the riverside.
Well appointed spacious room with attractive furnishings in a beautiful building.
Wide range of good places to eat nearby.

Perfect location in the center of old town. Beautiful historic building. I liked hearing the bells ring from the nearby tower
On the 4th floor with no elevator. Difficult for us older folks. But not a bad trade-off for the great location

Awesome location, clean rooms, lovely staff, great view out the window, everything about the hotel is great tbh
HOWEVER, the issue arises with what's under the hotel. There's a karaoke bar that's open until morning, and people sang there until 4 am. Also if you're quite tall the beds might be too short for you.
