Lovely location, child friendly, helpful staff, spacious and nicely decorated rooms.
Aircon in the room not working (clocked 28 degrees Celsius on our thermometer one evening) which isn’t ideal when you have a baby with you.

The hotel was first class, a beautiful fresh smell as soon as you enter the hotel. The staff were so attentive and very friendly. We got a free upgrade to a clean room.

The staff, the hotel's location and its facilities were excellent.
The choice of hot food at breakfast could have better. Better choice. On one morning the scrambled egg was cold. Fried eggs would have good while mushrooms were only available on one of the three mornings.

Amazing location, 5 minute walk to the main square and in a very safe feeling area. We were given a free room upgrade so room was very spacious. Lobby area is lovely.
It didn’t really feel like a 5 star hotel. Yes it was lovely but I don’t feel there was anything exceptional. For example, the iron in the room was a very cheap travel iron that hardly ironed any clothes. We also found it hard to control the temperature of the room.

Location is perfect for the old town (about a 5 minute walk). It's also not far to walk (10 minutes) from the 300 Bus Stop on Jubilat which is a direct service from the airport for 4 Zloty (about 90p UK as at March 2026), an absolute bargain and only about 30 to 40 mins depending on traffic. It's also convenient for the 1 and 13 tram stops which are a minute's walk from the hotel entrance, if that.
My only grumble was that the fridge didn't seem to get very cold (in fact it wasn't working when we arrived, but reception dealt with that, albeit it never really chilled anything down much). Also the aircon was a bit hit-and-miss, although at the time of year, early March, it wasn't too much of an issue (though we had cracking weather the week we were there as it happens). We had the window open instead, (which will stop the aircon, though that wasn't the issue), which looked out over the park area which surrounds the old town, and that was very peaceful and pleasant. A nice bar to unwind at in the evening, and a decent breakfast buffet in the morning. Also plenty of eateries within a 5 minute walk for evening dinner, and a Carrefour Express convenience store around the corner for any groceries / drinks required..
I would definitely recommend the hotel to anyone wanting a few days break in Krakow.
