The staff are great; friendly, helpful and competent. They were super helpful and nothing was too much trouble for them. Breakfast buffet is really nice, as is the swimming pool and gym. The hotel has a “can do” attitude which is refreshing
The location is great - we’ve done staying in apartments in the old town before, but there is something in staying in a quiet, clean full service hotel a short walk away from the centre.
We’ll be back, I’m sure.
We had two separate stays over the course of a week, and there was some variance in the otherwise identical rooms (one had a non-functioning plug socket, the other had heated tiled flooring in the bathroom). These are little things though, but suggests some maintenance variability. Had we been inclined, I suspect the staff would have moved heaven and earth to resolve (but it just wasn’t important to us)

Great location within easy walking distance to the old town and many places of interest. Quiet and comfortable rooms. An excellent breakfast.

The breakfast had a large selection of different foods. The hotel has a sauna, swimming pool & jacuzzi which are well maintained. A nice touch is that it provides free slippers & bathrobe. Staff was nice & polite.
The worst of it was the breakfast room setup! Multiple massive round tables seating many people at one table. Often we were not able to find seats for the 2 of us. Sorry but if I’m on vacation, I don’t want to spend my morning sitting with strangers. Those tables should be replaced with smaller ones (2-4 people ones) since it’s always possible to move them around / combine them to fit more people.
The room TV was noted as “smart” & it was but unfortunately the functions were not working.
We asked in advance since in the evenings we wanted to watch some movies but the TV screen mirror feature was not functioning properly and it seemed the connection was too weak to connect to my iPhone 17.
They were nice to provide a cable later but unfortunately it was not working properly either.

Pool and breakfast.
The doors were very loud, and I was often woken up in the middle of the night or very early morning by slamming doors and suitcases or cleaning trolleys running down the hallway.
