I really liked the location, as it’s close to the Old Town. However, I was disappointed with the view from the window — there was nothing to look at. Considering I paid for a suite, it was quite underwhelming that my otherwise beautiful room overlooked a shopping mall parking lot.
I’ve always really enjoyed staying at the Puro Hotel chain. I’ve stayed at Puro in Łódź more than five times, and perhaps that’s why I feel a bit less enthusiastic about Puro Stare Miasto — in comparison, it simply doesn’t feel quite as impressive as it might have otherwise.
At Puro Łódź, the breakfasts are absolutely outstanding — truly among the best I’ve ever had at any hotel — and the same goes for the restaurant. In Kraków, however, the food felt rather average, with a limited selection, which was a bit disappointing.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel and would highly recommend it! From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything I needed—they really made me feel at home.
The room was excellent: spotlessly clean, well-maintained, and equipped with everything I could possibly need for a comfortable stay. It was clear that a lot of care goes into ensuring guests have a great experience.
Breakfast was another highlight - delicious, fresh, and with a great variety to choose from, making it the perfect start to each day.
Overall, a wonderful experience. I would definitely stay here again!

Disappointing
Everything was perfect apart from one thing. The location, the room, and especially the staff were fantastic.
The whole experience was let down by one feature - the bathroom lighting. It operates on a sensor which switches ALL the very bright bathroom lights if it detects movement, even passing the door. There is no switch to manually override, so if you get up at 3am for a, er, bathroom visit, you get the full runway approach lighting effect! Wide awake, sleepiness evaporates! This is a fine hotel staffed by a great team, but somebody has specified this rubbish system, and its so fundamental, it brings the whole review down with it.

Comfy mattress. Tasty breakfast. Centric location, just opposite central railway station, very convenient. In the lobby there is water and coffee machine available for free for hotel guests.
Room size was very small, actually there was no place to put my cabin-size baggage on - no shelf, no stand/rack.
I even asked at the reception desk if they have a rack available for the suitcase - the staff politely declined.
In the morning there was no hot water so I had to take a cold shower. The receptionist, once asked, acknowledged that yes they had a hot water supply failure but come on, an almost fully booked boutique hotel should have some backup solution available - disappointing. No excuses, no compensation was suggested.
Bathroom was a space separated from the room area by putting glass walls together (that is why in room description it is stated "bathroom inside the room" rather than "room with a bathroom). This is the major reason why such arrangement results in the room space being so small.
Breakfast area was too small for the amount of people being served.
