Charging way too much for breakfast. Though we did not have breakfast I did see it set out and thought the price they charged for this was way too much. A little walk down the road and you get a lovely cafes & restaurants selling a much overall better breakfast menu for half the cost.. Overall the prices they charged in general for anything was too much. We went out to eat & drink as why would we pay prices here when there is nicer meals elsewhere for less. Roof top bar prices overpriced a little walk elsewhere and you save a lot of money

The highlight was the restaurant. The food was to die for, finally a chef that is obviously passionate about what he cooks and how it is presented.
The kitchen staff in the breakfast area also cooked to specific requests as well as presenting delicious and fresh varieties for breakfast. All staff were particularly welcoming and cheerful.
Loved the historic building, very tastefully updated and balanced with maintaining the historical aspect.

This is a charming hotel in a wonderful location. Breakfast was outstanding and I also enjoyed eating at the restaurant. The Sky Bar had amazing views. Everyone on the staff was helpful. Loved the robe.

Breakfast was good, the room and bathroom were a good size and the bed was very comfortable. The Sky Bar was superb offering fantastic views of the city.
The air conditioning didn't seem to work all the time. We got up on our last morning and got into the shower ... no water! We tried to use the phone in the room to ring reception but the line was dead. We used our mobile phone to call reception and were told that there was a problem throughout the whole hotel but that it would be sorted within around 30 minutes. Thankfully it was. Fortunately, we'd got a late checkout. Had it been early then we wouldn't have been able to shower. Having said that, we'd still return to this hotel.
