Superb location, just a stone's throw from the main square in the old town. Despite being on a busy road, the hotel is set back, so you don't get any noise from the street. And despite our window overlooking the courtyard where a restaurant has its tables, we didn't have any noise from this. The room was also a good size. Breakfast was also good, and while the selection wasn't huge, it was kept well-stocked all the way up until the 10 p.m. finish time. The staff were pleasant and as helpful as they could be.
Firstly, our room (14) was so far away. It was on the second floor, out across a balcony, and then back into the building, and there was no lift available. If you have a lot of heavy luggage, you will struggle and will need help from the reception staff. Also, after a long day of exploring and sightseeing, climbing up to the room felt like climbing Mount Everest. In addition to that, let me tell you now that our superior double room really didn't look like the photos. The pictures here make the hotel look a lot nicer and fancier than it really is. The room was large, but didn't feel especially nice - it was just average. The pillows were poor, and the bed wasn't especially comfy either. Also, none of the breakfast pictures here look anything like the breakfast room we ate in. However, the absolute worst thing about our room and our whole stay was the constant noise from the bathroom. If you come to this hotel and they offer you room 14, refuse it point blank. In our bathroom, in a large locked cabinet, was some sort of water heater, which appeared to not just be for our room. It was on constantly, droning all the time, all night, and the low hum was so incredibly intrusive. And when someone used the hot water, it kicked into life and got even louder. My boyfriend barely slept the whole time we were there. I mentioned it to reception, but they couldn't do anything about it. That's understandable, but it didn't make up for having to put up with it, and no one made any effort to offer us anything to make up for it.

Very close to the main square and all amenities but hotel was wonderfully quiet within
Beds were very comfortable, bathroom was large, clean and modern. Lovely breakfast each day.
Problem with lack of Wi-Fi in the bedroom, and only Polish Chanels on TV but we had our own data and were mostly out so didnt persevere with reporting these issues.

The location of the hotel is brilliant - when you leave the hotel , everything is in front of you, eg. the square, with many cafes, bars and restaurants. In addition , l liked the large, modern bathroom plus the tea and coffee facility in the room. The standard of service provided by the staff is excellent.
I did not like the fact that a 3 star hotel, such as Hotel Rezydent, does not have air conditioning installed in the rooms. In comparison, there are cheaper hotels in Krakow , Hotel Ibis Budget Stare Miasto , which do not have so many stars , however, they do have this facility in every room. My room , faced the main road and most nights it was very noisy.
