Location is good
Extremely noisy due to the trams passing by also during the night! Especially if your room is on the park side.
We booked the largest “suite” with a double bed + sofabed. Since we were 4 persons we also booked specifically one extra bed that was promised and charged for. When we arrived they say that sorry but we do not have extra beds! The room was huge but three beds for 3 adults is just not enough.

Exceptional
Hotel Polonia has an "olde worlde" feel, like being in an Agatha Christie movie. The room was sparkling clean, with comfortable beds, and a nice shower. The food at the restaurant was delectable, great Polish food, and we ate there on multiple occasions. We were able to walk to the train, and to many of the places we wanted to see, plus it is across the street from a lovely park.
I wouldn't change anything.

Loved the location, the Galician feel, friendly, responsive staff. Good was cozy and felt of the building's era - classy.
Bit of an odd, stale water smell from the shower. May be worth management looking into.

Awsome building and large room with terrace in a great location next to old centre, train station and largest galleries. Staff really nice. Only one thing, the bed was large and lovely, but too soft, feeling uncomfortable. It is a personnal view, but I don’t normally struggle with bed comfort.

The location is excellent – close to the city center, the central station, and the shopping center. The restaurant is especially worth mentioning – excellent lunch and dinner. Apparently, the chef is excellent.
The hotel is definitely in need of an update. The windows and plumbing are a bit dated, and city noise is clearly audible. Rooms should probably be inspected more often—in our room, the shower handles had come loose, and the shampoo was so old it had already formed a residue. But all of this can be fixed with a thorough inspection of all the appliances.

Nice historic hotel. It’s close to both the railway station and the old town. Perfect option for a short visit. Rooms are spacious. The hotel is a bit outdated but it comes with good history vibes. Breakfast is just amazing making you want to get back!
It’s right in front of a tram stop, so you can be bothered by it.

The most comfortable beds in the world! Just a beautiful old hotel.
Booking.com charged me $11 more than the posted room price on its website. I wrote three times to them about the situation, and included photos - request denied.
