The location is near to the railway station. Breakfast is good. The room is clean.

We loved the old traditional style of this historic hotel. Our room was large, clean and comfortable. Thank you for allocating our room on the quiet side with a garden view, as requested. The hotel location was perfect in many waysits just on the outside of the Old Town within a couple of minutes walk; the railway and bus stations are super-close with easy walking; a big tram stop is right outside the hotel. We never used the trams but walked everywhere to see all the sights of beautiful Krakw. We enjoyed the extensive breakfast selection. The staff kindly gave us a takeaway breakfast pack when we were being picked up for an early departure. A lovely hotel that we would stay at again.

This second time I have stayed in this hotel. It is first class and the restaurant for an evening meal is an added bonus.
Unfortunately the air conditioning system is on a controlled timer which switches off, which during the night can be a pain as the heat builds up.

I have reviewed this hotel before. I like it and have stayed there three times. Staff helpful. Close to train station. Right at the hub of numerous tram and bus lines. Excellent breakfast. Several nice suites. An historic hotel nicely renovated. Short walk to Old Town. Interesting radiator covers ;-) Have tried other hotels in Krakow but this one suits me best.
No complaints.

I have stayed at Hotel Polonia three times. Room 70 (a suite) was exceptional, Room 19 was close behind. I have also stayed in one of the standard rooms, which was also quite nice. I like the location - an easy walk from the train station, at a central hub for the tram and bus network, and not in old town but a short and pleasant walk to get there. The breakfast is quite good. I have used the restaurant for an espresso in the afternoon when I just wanted a pleasant place to write. The staff was friendly, and helpful when I had a special request. It has an older hotel feeling but nicely renovated. I have stayed at other hotels in Krakow, but in the end I prefer the Polonia.
Cant think of any thing I didnt like.

Entering this corner room took our breath away. It was simply magnificent, with windows on 3 sides. It had 2 separate sitting areas, and one in particular was a wonderful place to sit. Breakfast was nice with with hot and cold options. The location was fabulous, and an easy walk to most attractions. It's close to the Old Town, Royal Way, and also the very modern, huge shopping centre called Galeria Krakowska which has the Central Railway Station inside.
Unfortunately, the noise from tram traffic outside was very loud. We were expecting noise because of previous reviews, but this seemed louder than normal tram noise which wouldn't normally bother us. Perhaps this is because trams cross tracks as they turn at the very busy 4-way intersection outside, from around 5am till midnight. Maybe we were just unlucky that police and ambulances also went through this interesection late at night with horns blaring on all 3 nights we stayed. It seemed as noisy inside the room as it was outside, despite thick walls with double windows.
