It was so near the main square just a short walk
Bartok at reception was very helpful and informative and always wanted to help very cheery guy loves his job and it shows.
A safe in the room would be helpful.
The breakfast hot food was only tepid.Maybe more cut fruit as an option also

Location is the best thing
At 4am the main doors to the hotel were completely closed, with no bell or any way to alert reception. Unfortunately, my phone had died, so I was left outside for nearly two hours, walking around the city in the middle of the night.
What made the situation even more disappointing was the lack of any apology. Instead, the receptionist suggested that I should have had my phone fully charged, which felt dismissive and unprofessional given the circumstances.
As a guest, I expect safe and reliable access to the hotel at all hours, or at the very least a clear way to contact staff in situations like this.

The staff is very welcoming. I arrived earlier, and they suggested waiting in the restaurant with an amazing view and a gifted welcome drink.
The bread in the restaurant was moldy. But they replaced it immediately. The curtains in the room were smeared with something disgusting. The room was cold and dark.

Great location right next to Wawel Castle with a beautiful view on Wisła river. Amazing and helpful stuff. Very good breakfast buffet. This was our 3rd stay in this hotel, and we will be back there next time.

Great location with a nice view to the river. Welcome drink at the rooftop bar with a castle & river view. Tea/coffee available at the room is nice to have too. Superb sound isolation from the outside (great windows).

Great location, friendly and accommodating staff. They even made up a packed breakfast for us, as we had to leave early for the airport!

The hotel was in a good location and the staff were very friendly @ helpful The rooms were spotless and very comfortable The rooftop bar would be great in the summer

A wonderful location with a good View to the river and awesome boardwalk. The personal is very polite. A good place to start the sightseeing in Krakow. Thanks to the team of Hotel pod wawelem.
