The recently renovated 5-star Hotel Pod Różą is housed in a Renaissance palace in Kraków's Old Town, just off the Main Market Square. It features elegant restaurant and stylish, air-conditioned rooms. Pod Różą is the oldest hotel in Kraków and hosted many famous guests since the 17th century. The room and the bathroom is great. Could spend hours everyday at their Spa. Service at the bar is exceptional.
We were a bit disappointed when we specifically had booked a room with bathtub and street view but when we turned up we were given a small room with a shower. We had to go back to reception to clear this up, but then we were given a choice of two rooms which weren’t quite what we booked.

Location ideal. Spa lovely and unusual. Nice decor in public areas.
Room "ok" but not extraordinary for 5 star. Staff very nice except for the lady on departure morning reception, who was rude and snappy. Disappointing. Street noise will keep you awake.

The location is fabulous - right in the heart of the old town surrounded by lots of shops and restaurants. The building is beautiful, bedrooms huge and beds very comfortable. The hotel is immaculately clean. The lady on reception was very welcoming and helpful during our stay. Breakfast had a good selection of hot (to order) and cold food - omelettes were delicious.
The breakfast service could be a little slow.

Beautiful rooms classy yet fresh and modern, amazing spa and overall really great experience. The spa has a small pool, steam room and dry sauna, along with three individual hot stones. Also cold plunge pool and open showers.
Not a big thing but no changing rooms/private showers in the spa area. Lockers were available, but easier to go up to your room. Bathrobes and slippers were provided.
