Characterful, friendly, great breakfast and cafe patisserie. Location quiet but very central.
We chose smallest rooms and they are very comfy but tricky if you have lots of luggage. However, clean, comfy, great bathrooms.

Very good location, close to all sightseeing as main square, park, city wall. Across the street is museum (Rembrant), and Wawel is not too far on foot. Quiet at nights even though of neighbourging busy tourist streets. Wonderful old school small hotel with friendly and helpful staff. We liked it all.
Only small minor remarks: Reading lamp(s) would be nice to have, if not in the rooms, may be in the 1st floor salong and body lotion would be nice to have. (Other bath productions are very good.)

Great location, within the old city and close to the main railway station. Bathroom modern and well equipped. Large wardrobes with plenty storage.
Breakfast option was pricey with limited selection. The room had a retro communist chic vibe with furniture from the 60s, not for everyone's taste.

At approximately equal distance from the railway station and the main square, the hotel is ideally situated for train travellers. It is a nice old traditional building, however the room was a bit depressing as it faced a small inner court with just concrete and nothing else.
The bed was too soft and there was absolutely no room in the bathroom to place anything, no proper shelves.
