We loved the location and the decore, the restaurants cuisine was amazing as it was French, staff were super friendly and willing to help with anything we inquired about.
My wife didn't like the pillows, they weren't very comfortable pillows, sounds trivial but a good night's sleep is important when your exploring a medieval cities in 31° for 4-5days

We were given a room upgrade to something more akin to an apartment. Soooo spacious and very very comfortable. Beautiful ambience in the hotel and the staff were exceptionally helpful. We had dinner in the restaurant one night and it was totally amazing. Make sure you give it a go if you are staying here. The whole place is perfectly lovely. It is only a short walk through the park to an underground thoroughfare that means you can avoid busy roads. From there you enter a large modern mall attached to the main train station Krakow Glowny so it is extremely convenient. The hotel is behind the city walls in the old town itself. Good lift so no need to climb stairs (but they are so beautiful you'll probably give it a go anyway at least once). There is a gorgeous bar too if you like that kind of thing - we tend not to drink so we were happy it was tucked away. I did peek in once to check it out - it has all the old world cool character vibes you'd expect in a classy establishment like this.
The only issues we had were a door that we couldn't figure out how to lock and the pillows were too flat. Both rectified immediately when staff were asked about it. You would have a hard time finding anything not to like in this gem of a place. We could have happily stayed for a week.

Breakfast was amazing. They gave you an option of making a hot freshly made breakfast in addition to the buffet.
The fitness area is a very small room with limited equipment. It was fine but I wouldn’t say it was a great space for exercise.

The beautiful architectural details in the hotel , the wonderful staff, the best breakfast we had while traveling for 7 weeks in Europe! The hotel is well located inside the old city walls, easily walkable to the old town, or the train station. The room was quiet, the bed comfortable. Breakfast is in the restaurant downstairs . While there is a buffet on offer, breakfast also included a menu for cooked items. These were exceptionally tasty, as they are cooked to order.
Not a problem for us, but the hotel is located inside the walls of the old city. Therefore you need a permit to bring in a car. We booked a tour to Zakopane which was supposed to include hotel pickup, but they did not as the hotel was inside the walls. We had to walk to the meeting point. This is really the fault of the tour operator, not the hotel. As the hotel booked a taxi to take us to the airport, and he picked us up at the door.

Location in the Old Town. Easy to get to the station.
Room is old fashioned with traditional fittings.
No amenities, no complimentary water, room was arranged poorly with little space between the bed and walls/window. No bedside lamps. Light switch for main ceiling light placed behind the bed so kept being switched on when sitting up. Curtains and blinds don't stop the light and the position of the beds mean you have light shining on you all night especially as our room windows were right next to the very bright outside lights.

The hotel is beautiful and worth exploring on its own. All of the staff were very friendly. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very nice. The location is quiet but also perfectly located close to major sites. It felt like staying in old-world luxury!
