Very central location. Beautiful building with amazing staff. Outstanding cuisine.
Could hear guests on the floor above walk around their room first thing in the morning.

Beautiful building, nice rooms and great location. Staff were very helpful and friendly and spa was lovely
Walls were paper thin and we could hear talking and coughing in the room next door.

- fantastic location, right next to the Wawel Castle
- a beautifully renovated old townhouse - feels very special to stay there especially if you appreciate historic hotels!
- I was able go early check-in which was a very welcome gesture after a long flight- much appreciated!
- I requested a change of bathrobe and it was addressed immediately
- most staff kind and courteous
- spa/pool facilities are lovely. Beautiful touches with the candles and what not.
- toiletries in the room are very good quality
- linens were very comfy, felt very crisp and squeaky clean
- gorgeous wooden furniture (closet, bed, desk, etc)
- generally a cozy feel, with a gorgeous patio, some nice plants, beautiful glass ceiling
devil’s in the details - compared to other 5* hotels of similar value (and other R&C hotels), Copernicus was underwhelming with regards to several aspects:
- no turndown service
- no creamer for milk in the room; you need to call the restaurant to ask for milk for your coffee. On the day of my check-in I waited about 30mins (needed to call again to follow up), and the restaurant staff on the phone wasn’t courteous. Tho, next day I requested milk at the reception and it was delivered very rapidly. To create a 5* hassle-free experience there should be powdered creamer in the room with the possibility of ordering fresh milk from the restaurant if one wishes to.
- much of the interior was outdated (shower, rugs, lamps, paint job, etc)
- walls are very thin; noise from the corridor and rooms next door were quite loud and bothersome
- most kits are available only upon request

Spa and comfortable rooms. Very clean
The restaurant was super gloomy and uninviting… the menu was also slightly strange. We live realise and chateau and have stays at many hotels before. It is such a shame about the restaurant.

Pleasant
The historic building and the novelty of such a cool swimming pool in the Spa area. The staff were helpful and professional. The lady on the front desk was really nice, smiley, friendly and helpful.
The decor is as expected - historic, dark wood and from its time. My room only had a bath with a shower in the bath, but no shower screen. The Spa sauna wasn't hot enough. The pool was okay but a bit tepid to relax and float in. The ambience in the restaurant and bar lounge is not cosy and the interior has a cold feel to it. No external windows in my room nor my dads room. Overpriced for what it is, but I knew that and paid for one night to have the experience of staying in the historic hotel. An overpriced novelty for me in my opinion. Other hotels provide better value. But still nice to be able to say we stayed in 'Hotel Copernicus'.

The hotel has a great mix of old-world style with elegant, modern touches — it feels special, intimate, but really comfortable and welcoming. The staff were friendly, professional, and super helpful. The pool, sauna and spa area were excellent, and my mum really enjoyed her massage - visited a few times; so relaxing after a day of exploring! The terrace view was amazing, and the bed was so comfortable — best sleep I’ve had in a while. I also loved the quality and scent of the bathroom products. The location couldn’t be better, just a short walk to Wawel and the Old Town. Everything was spot on, and we’ll definitely be back.
