Fantastic location
The room was quite dark and decor a little dated.
The doors were heavy and the flooring solid, so a lot of corridor noise in bedrooms

The hotel itself was very reasonably priced, and the location is excellent in that sense, it really does the job
it didn’t feel like a 4-star hotel, more like 3 stars. The bathroom had a very strong, unpleasant moldy smell (to the point that our toiletries and creams absorbed the smell and ended up stinking as well).
Breakfast wasn’t great -quite poor, honestly.
And the most disappointing part was the pillows: extremely uncomfortable, old, worn out, and honestly pretty gross. It really ruined our sleep.
Regarding the air conditioning we arrived in November. Even though it was cold outside, we like sleeping with the AC on for airflow, but the AC didn’t work in the room (there wasn’t even a remote). The hotel said the AC is turned off at that time of year because it’s already cold, and there’s nothing they can do.
So we had to sleep with the window open to get some air, and the noise from outside was disturbing. (Heating is separate and cannot be controlled.)

The Hotel is very central. Breakfast was very good. Room and bathroom were clean. Only thing we have to complain about is the carpet. It urgently needs to be deep cleaned or changed

Reception staff were amazing, friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Breakfast was good. Bedrooms clean and comfortable, everything you need. Loved the props when we were leaving to take pictures. Close to shops and restaurants. Just an excellent stay all round. Highly recommend this hotel.

Wonderful
Very clean room & bathroom, comfy bed, quiet and safe location. Our attic room was bigger than seemed in the pictures, which was very nice. A mini fridge and water in the room. In a walking distance from the old town.
We had only one physical key into the room. We didn't ask another key, but in general it's nice to have a separate keys for both me and my partner, for convenience and safety reasons.
