Great location, close to the Wawel castle
The beds don't have private lamp and no curtains to separate a bit from the room.

- the rooms were spacious with free, spacious lockers
- the breakfast was decent (however, not a very social atmosphere during breakfast)
- the 8 bed dorm had a private bathroom and there were additional toilets and bathrooms in the hallways
- the location is quite nice as well with a Butcher shop, a traditional "milk bar" restaurant and a 6am-23pm convenience store right outside
- the mattress was really not good. It was very lumpy and soft. That, especially combined with the very thick pillow, made for a not super comfortable sleep.
- the reception staff is less friendly and helpful than the average. Not the usual warm welcome, no showing you what to do on a map.
- the bathroom smelled really bad the first day. Probably it was smell from the drains. Somehow it disappeared after the first night.
- without ear plugs, the noise from the street (with the windows open) will be too loud for most people.

Although the check in time is 3pm, I was allowed to checkin earlier. I was offered breakfast on arrival as the breakfast bar was still open. Breakfast spread was good. Lots of healthy options. I would definitely return.

The location is good as it was just outside the main city. I would recommend the rooms with 4 beds as it’s more comfortable than the 12 bed rooms. The breakfast is a nice addition. The staff were helpful and friendly, especially Carina who helped me to add another night after my plans changed. The price is very affordable. I would recommend staying there.

It was a perfect place near a city centre to spend the night before the flight. The bus station to the airport is just in front of the hostel. And it takes only 20 mins to get there.
