Fair
The good, the bad, and the ugly.
Let's start with the good. Pretty good breakfast buffet reasonably priced.
The location is good although you are about a 20 minutes walk to the St. Mary's Basilica but not a bad walk on a nice day. The rooms don't come with a key card, you have to enter your code on a keypad. Guess it can be good or bad based on your preference. Just don't loose the card because it has the name of the hotel, your room number, and the code.
The bad: the rooms are as basic as they come. It felt like a hostel with a private room. There are no actual closets, no iron, no mini fridge, no safe. If you wonder what it is like to dry yourself with sandpaper you are in luck. The 2 towels they leave for you are as rough as sandpaper, they are old and have holes on them. I had to pat my face to dry it because they were that rough. The sink is pretty small with barely any room for your items and no other place to put them unless you use the desk. The hallways are so hot!! Don't wear your jacket until you leave the hotel. The beds are just a thin mattress on a wooden platform, not the most comfortable. Also, very thin walls. You can hear everything and feel every time someone closed a door. Don't take my word for it, read the sign from the elevator wall.
The ugly: MOLD! The shower had so much mold. I explained this to the guest service clerk and he said it was the silicone. It is not. Housekeeping only does your bed. Empty coffee mugs? Not picked up. Dirty cups? Nope. The bedsheets had stains on them. The room's paint by the windows was peeling off. Also, as I mentioned previously, no iron or ironing board. In the event that you need to iron anything, you must go to the 2nd floor where they have an ironing community room. It felt like it was 100°F in there, to the point that I was actually sweating. The two irons available where so dirty and crusty that one damaged my shirt. I advised the front desk but nothing much was done from the hotel management.
Had they charged me half the price, I would've expected all those issues but not for what you pay.

Poor
The location is very convenient, with a supermarket right next door. The tram stop is directly in front of the hotel, making transportation easy. The staff handled noise issues with neighbors quickly and efficiently, which was appreciated.
The room was extremely dirty upon arrival:
- There were crushed insect marks on the ceiling, walls, and curtains.
- The shower was covered in black mold.
- The carpet was full of hair, clearly showing that it had not been vacuumed properly.
- There were dried blood stains on one of the pillows, which is unacceptable.
- The duvet was too small for two people.
- The pillows offered no proper support and were very uncomfortable.
- The breakfast is overpriced for the limited selection offered.
