The room itself was very clean, however, despite many signs indicating penalties for smoking, our room smelled heavily like cigarette smoke and the previous tenant had taped over the smoke alarm. There were also people clearly smoking on other floors so disappointing that they don’t enforce the non smoking policy as it lingers in a negative way throughout the building

Hallways always smell of chemicals. Probably rug cleaner or pesticide. No elevator and the stairs are steep and many. They use to provide a kitchen with stove. On my most recent stay I learned they no longer provide a stove. They claim they updated Booking. I can’t find any evidence it’s been updated unless it’s been removed. But if you’ve stayed multiple times you likely don’t search the listing for something being removed. I would expect a partial credit. But they only offer a credit for a future stay. Why would I want to return with such poor treatment after multiple stays?

Stayed 2 times. Close proximity to the main places of interest in Kraków. Rooms are fairly clean. All receptionists speak English very well.
There’s no in-room amenities, only basics (beds, table, closet). Insulation is a bit rough (can hear neighbors, and if somebody is in the restroom). Doors are squeaky as hell.

Location was good, around 7 minutes to the tram stop that takes you to the old town, the place was quiet, staff was nice, big locker

The only thing I liked was that the previous hostel in Krakow was even worse and the girl at check in was very kind.
The room was very cold, the heating didn't work at all.
It was very noisy, you could hear everything from the TV, chatting and even snoring from the next door, music from the hostel (I don't get why playing music in all the corridors) and anyone walking and slamming doors, the door of the room was very thin and not totally sealed.
The bed was also uncomfortable with a very thin pillow
In the morning from 8:00 it sounded like a factory, all the cleaners slamming doors and cabinets like they didn't care, cleaning bathrooms and toilets when people needed most, of course none of them spoke English.
Also there was some construction going on and there was the smell of smoke, I'm sure the staff was smoking in some of their private rooms.
The girl at the reception was quite sour when I asked for the kitchen, she sent me to the first floor where there was no kitchen but couches with women sleeping on it ( I guess they didn't have any money for a bed), they told me that the kitchen was on the third floor, went there and found an older couple visibly drunk with a bottle of wine ( 8:00 am..), but coffee was free...
I left quickly to the station and never wanted to come back again...

Good hostel with a great location in Krakow. The rooms and washrooms were clean and well maintained, which made the stay comfortable.
A small improvement could be assisting guests to their rooms after check-in, as it took some time to find mine. Also, beds need to be made by guests themselves and the washrooms are shared rather than attached. Thank you.

The staff was nice and the check in process was easy. Location is good, but not exceptional compared to some other options. The number of bathrooms was ok. The view from the toom was great and the lockers were very spacious.
The facilities are very clearly showing their age. Although everything was relatively clean, the doors, fixtures etc. seemed run down and the overall impression of the interior wasn't very good. The decoration and overall appearance is uninspired. I didn't really feel cozy at any point during my stay. Beds are very basic. I suggest the owner does a renovation otherwise this won't be a nice place to stay compared to similar options in Krakow.

I absolutely loved this place! Everything was spot on, and that insane view alone was worth every penny. If you're looking for a sign to visit Krakow, this is it—the city is legendary. The social atmosphere here is unmatched; there are parties every single day, and I had the chance to meet people from all over the world. From the accommodation to the city vibes, everything was perfect. Don't think twice, just book it!

I always travel with heavy luggage and there is no elevator. So not very "accessible" building.
