Wonderful
Great location, just a few minutes' walk to the old city center. My room was very clean and quiet and looked out over an inner courtyard. The restaurant in the hotel was good. I had both breakfast and lunch there. The hotel is directly across the street from the tram stop. As a solo female traveler, I felt very safe walking in the neighborhood all around the hotel.
My Polish-speaking driver from the airport was valuable as he was able to figure out that one needs to go to the next building to check in and get the key. The hotel staff that evening was curt to the point of rudeness. The subsequent staff were much better. However, I left for the airport at 4 a.m. and the hotel door was locked so I couldn't check out and return my key. My taxi driver took my key to return it. I hope it all turned out!!

Location is close to city center and main railway station. Pleasant hotel, good atmosphere - you feel the history in the building. Well equipped at attractive price.

A very convenient location: across the street from the Old Town and within easy walking distance of the Main Square, near the main train-and-bus station, near a major shopping mall for essentials.

breakfast was ok
I had to pay about 10 more than was advertised. The receptionist was unfriendly. The room I had booked was in a different building than the reception. I arrived very late, only to find after check-in in my room that the wifi required a password which was not available in the room. Nice. So I had to go back on the street and walk to the reception again. This i...t of receptionist could not give me this password at the time of check-in. I understand, it's really a stretch.

There was no need for, as the hotel was minutes to the heart of the city. The only time we used public transport was to go to the salt mine, which was easily accessible by public transport
