We liked the food, hosts, birds chippering. The place is everything you need to wind down and relax. Hosts are amazingly nice and welcoming. Staff was always helpful and informative. We could not ask for better service to take care of us during our stay.
We did not like the opening hours of restaurant. That's the only flaw of that place. Restaurant on Friday -Sunday should be open longer than till 19

The restaurant Babcina kuchnia was excellent. We tried most of the dishes from the menu and they were all delicious. The restaurant is family friendly with plenty of toys for kids to play with. We also liked relaxed atmosphere in the restaurant. Our son frequently made mess and destroyed the Easter decorations but this wasnt a problem.
Staff was very friendly and professional, always happy to help. Although rooms are not equipped with kettles we were given one for the duration of the stay.
The location is very good with plenty of forest paths nearby.
Breakfast was good however it could have had better variety.

Really exceptionally professional and gently staff starting from the lady owner who accepted the changement of dates and rooms out of charge when Booking asked us to pay full amont , through the main manager who spent with us a long minutes to advise us lot of touristic visits in the region and supplied us with documents , till very helpful and class waitresses ! Believe us we never met so nice staff. Hotel in all is a really good European level.
Nothing to improve, nothing to add !

Where to start!! If I could give 6 stars I would. Let's start with the people - all the staff are incredibly friendly - it's a family owned place and the history of the family is everywhere to be seen - lovely old sepia photographs in the hallways and restaurant - each identifying the person and the relationship to the owner.
The food is delicious - the restaurant was full every night with people visiting from around as well as residents - Babcia's Kuchnia (Grandmother's Kitchen). The waiter in the morning was always cheerful and was so helpful with places to visit, found maps for people, gave directions and recommendations - it was really nice.
The garden is tranquil and I was able to sit in the table and chairs under the eaves of the building by the conference room (which looked great for weddings or parties by the way) and even when it was raining I could read or draw.
There was a play area for children - which although small kept them entertained and had tables beside the play area for adults to sit and chat.
The restaurant and building and rooms were spotlessly clean - it was wonderful. There was no hassling from room service - they would knock once mid morning and ask if you wanted anything and then leave you alone.
The sound proofing was really good - I couldn't hear anyone else from my room (No 17) - which is unusual in such hotels in Poland - normally you can hear everything!
Breakfast was lovely- you can have a choice of cooked or buffet - the coffee is great and the tea kettle had really hot water - which made the tea delicious (again unusual in Poland) - so appreciated by a tea drinker!
I stayed for 4 days - the menu was large - but if you stayed for a longer time and ate there every night - it could become repetitive possibly - but the food is delicious - I especially recommend the Rosol soup (broth)
The car park is huge - so lots of room for parking
There is a footpath down from the garden to the lake/river below the property
No "lounge area" in the main hotel - maybe a comfortable lounge area to sit and look at the garden would be nice - but that's just minor detail - I was able to sit outside or in my room which was comfortable and spacious Caution: There is a main road outside - so anyone with children would have to take care they didn't run on the road

The hotel has an excellent restaurant with a traditional Polish menu. The meals were delicious and service impeccable. The restaurant serves a continental breakfast buffet of very good quality. Omelets can be ordered and on some days, pancakes were available. There is plenty of parking places. Our family room was quite spacious, despite the four beds, and very clean. Outside the hotel is a lawn which is ideal for some light sports activities such as playing badminton or frisbee with kids. It also has a playground with swings etc.
The hotel is situated on the side of a quite busy street, which can be noisy at times. One doesn't feel it inside the hotel or in the restaurant, however. The rooms we had didn't have a fridge so we had to make sure to have food with us which wouldn't get bad without refrigeration, so no yoghurts, milk etc. The restaurant closes at 7 pm.
