I was doing QA for the property. Found 1. Save keys are not working, 2, The drains are also clogged.
The schedule of shuttle are not friendly to customers.
They can not even to call taxi for us.

Very Good
The staff were amazing, loved our swim up room
The location , had to get a tuk tuk to go anywhere, had maintenance issues, tiles coming up or missing in the pool, light hanging dangerously close to the water, some sun lounge cushions falling apart , derelict buildings on the grounds looks very unsightly, soffits on main buildings are hanging in several areas, not sure how safe that is. Even the menus in the Italian restaurant are falling apart , should be replaced.
Hopefully this is practical criticism as it lets down the hotel which is generally really nice

Disappointing
The hotel as a concept is nice. The initial architecture was fine. Personel is super friendly and do whatever they can to satisfy the guests. Loved them.
Very old, rooms are old, maintanance is very poor and the impression anyone has is that the hotel has been abandoned. Broken lights, missing tiles from the swimmin pool (espessialy near the kids pool most of the pool-tiles are missing giving you an idea that the water is very dirty). The swimming pool has not been cleaned on a daily basis. We have booked the Pool Villa and have not enjoyed the pool not even once. Too bad since the hotel could be really nice.

Nothing. Everything from accommodations to the food is below average
Nothing. The hotel is not luxury. There's no hot water readily available. You have to call the front desk a, few times before they turn on the hot water which could take 1-2 hours later. The italian restaurant is decent but the breakfast buffet is disappointing.

It's a very beautiful hotel. I wish I could stay longer.
Breakfast was good
Room was nice and comfortable beds.
Only thing I need to suggest is..I hope they can curve down or angle/round the corners because we kept on accidentally hurting our legs....because of the sharp corners of the beds
Sharp wooden corners of wooden beds..instead of rounded/ curve...so they don't hurt calf bones easily. We had to place something on the corners so we don't keep on hitting ourselves. It hurts

Pleasant
It’s a big property with good breakfast options. Nice pools!
Expensive restaurants for what you get. Slow service. My bathroom constantly flooded when I showered. No activités and not a lot to do at the resort. No beach front and the sand banks seemed like a hassle to get to.

Nothing!! It was absolutely terrible. We booked a water villa and it looked nothing like the photos. The breakfast was basic, the room was old, the spa didn't work, the hot water took 5 minutes to turn on, and the water villa was on mud flats!
Terrible hotel, I am so heartbroken I chose this hotel for my Honeymoon! Its old, outdated, run down, and looks nothing like the photos. We were meant to stay 3 nights and left the hotel after 1 we were that disappointed, I complained to the General Manager Charlyn and she said they would arrange a refund and also never did. We booked a water villa and it was actually a joke. Shocked they can get away with even calling it that. I don't recommend this hotel, especially for couples and definitely not a honeymoon experience :(

The amenities were 10! Amazing! Japanese restaurant atop one of the building was breathtaking and truly a once and a lifetime experience. Staff was friendly. We had a water villa but instead of blue ocean it was more like low and high tide swampy
They charged me the “holding” fee and it’s impossible to contact them to reverse. Had to dispute it on my credit card. Keep the holding/verification receipt

Fair
Princesa Garden Island Resort & Spa has a lot going for it, starting with its very convenient location near Puerto Princesa Airport, which is ideal for short stays or early flights. The resort feels exclusive and self-contained, with multiple restaurants, amenities, and beautiful private villas that offer privacy and a true resort experience.
The experience didn’t fully align with the premium price point. The villa rates are significantly overpriced for the level of service provided. Guest service also lacked attentiveness and compassion, particularly during our departure. We were promised breakfast due to an early flight, yet none was available, and staff showed little initiative in offering alternatives until I had to ask.
Additionally, we paid for an “inclusive” airport drop, but the vehicle was shared with another guest, which was unexpected and not communicated in advance, another miss for what is marketed as a high-end, exclusive experience.

A gem in the Philippines! We spent 2 lovely nights here and got just what we needed! We enjoyed our room with patio access to one of several pools. The staff was incredible and prompt, noteworthy in the Philippines. We ordered food from the Italian and Japanese restaurant, and it was delicious. The complimentary breakfast was expansive and good. Highly recommend ?

The room was nice. And the majority of the people were very nice
We felt like we were baiting switched with what we booked with booking. They did not have a room and tried to sell us an upgrade. They told me the price for the upgrade and I took it. Then the next day they came back and said I owed more because it wasn't the right price. We did not pay the upgrade price after the second day and I believe the employee that made the mistake was responsible for paying not a place I'd go back to
The place hasn't been kept up and looks like it's in need of a cash. Infusement

Wonderful
Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent - pool was warm. Sushi restaurant was excellent both in service and food. Staff was friendly and polite.
On site restaurant Tomato and Basil - service was extremely slow. Staff was unhelpful if you needed a taxi to go to town but if you walk out to the road there are usually a few tuk tuks out there for hire.

We had a wonderful time at the resort. There was so much space and so many places to sit and unwind. Food was fantastic along with the staff. Everything was very clean and worked properly. We absolutely enjoyed our stay there and plan to visit again soon.
The overall experience was just fantastic. Two things that I believe should be urgent to address. First, having security or remember the staff call or flag down petty cabs or taxi cabs. We had an instant where we had to leave the resort and no assistance was offered by the desk or the staff to secure a taxi. Instead, they offered their shuttle for 600 pesos one way. That is a 1200 peso round-trip, which is about $25 American. That, is not ok and in my mind completely unacceptable.
Second, for this large of a resort, the fact that there is no ATM available on the property causes problems. It limits the ability to retrieve cash so we can tip waitstaff or facility workers, etc. I would strongly urge that you find a location and partner with a bank willing to provide you an ATM at the property. This is an absolute must, and we were incredibly shocked to hear that one was not on the property.

The room that had immidiate walk into the swimmingpool
The fact that I was forgotten at the airport and had to wait one and a half hour in the heat and then organise my own taxi and the rest that followed
