Empty bottle of liqour was placed anywhere. Recreational area or bar area was not maintain well.

Built to look like a ship, coming from the road above. Sailor theme inside. It's an old hotel, but the room was well kept and surprisingly nice. Both the room and the bathroom were spacious. Everything was clean and the bed comfortable. Soap, towels and toilet paper were supplied. Hot shower. Excellent WiFi that worked everywhere. There's a generator too, and yes, there were some power cuts. I got my room early. Each floor had a free hot and cold water dispenser......and best of all, my room had a balcony. There's a rustic bar on the rooftop. Noodles and snacks available, and billiards. Friendly staff.
It was nothing I didn't like, but I think they would benefit from removing some red flags which could deter experienced travellers from booking.
- it says on Booking that the property handles all payments and that it got to be paid in advance. Property will let me know.....and that's usually a no go for me. That bank transfer thing isn't quick, cheap and easy for many foreigners.
But then, Booking.com took the payment. So easy that way
- Got a message about a pre arrival form that had to be filled out 24h before arrival, but the link only opened up a totally empty page! When I contacted them, it turned out to not be needed after all.
- Maps.me say OYO Dad's Bayview pension, and that's a huge red flag for many, especially for those who have been to India for some time. Once OYO even took money from me for a scam hotel in Thailand that did not exist. They had stolen photos from another hotel, and the money was taken through an OYO payment link, not through booking.com.
- NEED some online cleaning up!.. but after all there is NO problem booking here.

Clean respectable
The important thing about this place is just to know what you are getting. It is decent and cheap and the airconditioning and WIFI work. It doesn't serve breakfast, so be ready to get out to some of the cafes nearby. There is a beautiful view of the harbor, but it's a view over the neighborhood, which is not scenic. The door security is not great. So just know what you are getting and you will be fine.

Spacious rooms with free drinking water on each floor and a pool table and bar on the top. The bathroom was super small however and the air con was so loud it was very difficult to sleep without earplugs

There’s like a ant’s highway couldn’t kept any food for more than an hour exept if you like some extra protein! The shower holder was broken and everything was looking super old and dirty.

We stayed in a big room first floor on the right with couch, 2 bedrooms and view on the bay and street. Everything was clean and wifi was great. We also liked the location, since it is 5min motodrive away from the main streets. Plus it has a bar on the roof.

It’s close to the bay
It’s dusty inside the rooms, the sink was filthy, the bathroom was also filthy and the water looked like it’s from the sea. It’s was almost brown.
