Perfect spot to be away from the crowds in the center or near Panagsama beach, yet close by to even walk there (did it several times). With scooter - its even better. Tucked away in a picturesque setting the ride is day or night is so relaxing. Makes also for a great base to explore all the sights around (waterfalls/ White beach etc). Just grab a set of snorkel and fins from the amaaazing hosts and wait for high tide (protect the corals!) and you will be amazed. One afternoon I spent like 20 mins gawking at a 2 turtles :)

Perfect place to relax. The room is clean and smells good. The staff were very nice and happily accommodated our requests. The property is quite far from the main area but you can rent motorbike from them. We chose this place because its beachfront you can snorkel at the area. So many fish and beautiful coral garden. You can rent snorkeling gears from them.

The homestay is charming and beautiful. A peaceful place that takes you directly to a private beach where you can see turtles just if you do snorkelling. Donna and all of the staff are very kind and helpful. There's a possibility to order all meals and even beer. Some improvements could be made regarding the Wi-Fi that is not available in the rooms, and the breakfast/ dining room could be decorated with flowers and small leds. Once the place is far away from Panasagma beach, they can book a moto/tryciclo for you, or if you drive a scooter, they will be available for rental.

Nice and quiet (except for the roosters all around) place to stay away from the buzz in Moalboal. Huts are basic, but cozy. Beautiful, well maintained garden. We arrived early because of an overnight flight and the hosts were so kind to make an early check in possible. Aircon available upon request, but the fan is also quite strong. Immediate support when the toilet flush broke.
Water pressure is very low. Prepare to settle the bill in cash only. Our neighbours had a party in the garden for two nights, which was incredibly loud way beyond midnight (of course not the accommodation's fault)

We had an incredible stay at Allbas. The staff (Idawna) was so friendly and helped us book all activities and gave us recommendations for things to do and restaurants to visit.
The homestay is a collection of native style cottages, all within a huge, stunning garden, right on the coast, with the most beautiful sunset.
Our room had an en suite bathroom (with warm water) and a veranda, with a fan and good air conditioning + mosquito repellents and towels.
There is also a restaurant on site which serves basic breakfast and traditional lunch and dinner options.
Beautiful. We have absolutely 0 complaints and I will forever remember our stay. I wish we had stayed longer.
Everything was amazing.
You need a taxi to get to the area with the restaurants, but taxis are cheap (250 php) and we didnt mind

What an absolute fairytale of a place. A gem within 30 mins walk of Panagsama beach, the most beautiful hideaway beach shacks and little roads to explore nearby. The host was absolutely beautiful and couldn't have been more friendly. Thankyou for a life changing amazing experience!! Hired a bike through them and rode that thing like a bandit to the southernmost point of Cebu and across to Oslob. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED simple but peaceful oasis. Flowers hummingbirds, hermit and mudcrabs walking along terraced garden paths at night, little shops and restaurant on rural road on the way in and chalk powdered roads all around.
Nothing, it was perfect.

The location is away from the centre of Moalboal, about 10 mins down some bumpy roads. The accomodation is very peaceful with little huts by the beach. The huts are basic but they have everything you need for a couple of days. The family is very helpful in booking tricycles taxis or has scooters available for hire if you prefer. You will need transport for this location- It is a 30 minute walk to centre of town. There are a few restaurants 450m or so walk away. The family also prepares meals on request. Simple but tasty food. The private beach is fantastic for snorkelling- at the edge of the reef you can see turtles and some sardines just 200m from the hotel. The huts also have a little private balcony for sitting out and relaxing. Overall a nice stay away from the tourist hub

Everyrhing was perfect.The location was 7 min with Tuk tuk or motorbike which they rent in the property. We had a private beach with clear water, no sand but it was fine ,you can relax by the grass.The room was big ,the Ac was working very good ,except from few hours because they was doing some maintenance. The staff was great ,the lady at the reception was at our disposal and a guy from the crew make us also some tours with snorkeling with turtles and sardines and kawasan falls .
The pressure on the water needs an update and some additionall lightening in the night outside.

Right in front of the sea, great for snorkeling (they have gears you can rent) but there's also a small sandy patch where you can just sit and swim. Lots of corals and fish to see just a short distance from the shore. And the sea always looks so inviting during the day. Room is very simple, but felt comfortable enough. In fact, the beds are extremely comfortable. Most importantly, very cost effective.
Since the location is a bit remote, we planned to eat all our meals in the resort. Unfortunately, they didn't have anything to cook one dinner so we had to walk 7-8 mins to the nearest decent place to eat. Would recommend staying here for only a couple days towards the end of your trip. We stayed in a different accommodation for our "busier" days, one near Panagsama to save money on transpo.

The location was exceptional. We could walk down to our own private beach and swim with turtles and fishes without any crowds.
The property had snorkel gear for cheap hire and also mopeds for hire to get you to panagsama beach.
