As with every place we stayed in, staff are always wonderful! Eleni was very hospitable and helpful.
Our “Honeymoon Suite” was probably great at one point, many moons ago. Today it’s a rundown, ac hardly working, water hardly running, everything looking very sad kinda place. If this were our actual honeymoon, I’d be very very disappointed.

The resort was nice and comfortable all the staff super friendly and kind, beautiful place. My family was very happy, and they did enjoy staying at the Blue Orchid at Moalboal. Especially the sardines and sea turtles ? were amazing. it's vertical, beautiful. My family had a lot of fun. We had a very nice big room
Well, the food to pricey, especially big family, is too expensive. I didn't like not to include breakfast. Should include breakfast. At least with the big family, it can save a little bit. The room was not cheap, then the island hopping not reasonable price with big family too expensive if just spouse or single no big deal. We want to go to kawasan Falls and snorkeling somewhere island we couldn't do it because it cost 4 of us 12,000 pesos for a day. Then also the motorcycle cab to expensive too to go somewhere.

The peaceful environment and private beach. The staffs are friendly and the owner was very accommodating.
The main resort is a little bit far from the main road but we have our own car so that's okay.

The grounds are beautiful! We loved the atmosphere of this resort. It isn’t new, but is charming and welcoming. We loved being right on the reef and having ocean views from our room. The location is exactly what we wanted- away from crowds and noise. It was very peaceful and we were often the only people on the beach, but it was still only a few minutes ride by tuk tuk (or walk up the beach) to town, restaurants, and ATM’s. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the AC worked. There was a locking safe in our room and drinking water was available for free by the bar. We appreciated that the snorkel gear from the dive shop was free. We also did an introductory scuba dive through the resort and our dive guides were great. The dive cost a little more than the dive companies in town charge, but we heard that our resort does a much better job with dives, and has instructors that are certified, so we opted to go through them. We were happy that we did. The staff is very friendly and helpful- definitely 10/10 for customer service! They helped us arrange a whale shark tour and transportation for everything else we did. The food at the restaurant was really good and well priced. We loved our stay here!
The shower did not have strong water pressure, but the water was hot, so we didn’t mind much. Everything else was wonderful!

Best stay of our trip! The rooms were large and comfortable. The food was good enough that we didn't feel the need to go into town. They offer a bunch of activities and make booking anything very easy. The best part was the staff tho! Unbelievably amazing staff that helped us with any bookings and made our stay extremely comfortable! After staying there we wanted to extend our stay if we could, would definitely stay there again!

Property was clean, the staff is very friendly and helpful, and everyone that works there was very accommodating to our needs.
The road to get to the property is horrible, not their fault entirely but maybe they could work with the other resorts in the area to arrange better roads to get to their resorts.

The Blue Orchid was a great stay. Very scenic and quiet location. Reception staff was absolute all-stars and extremely helpful. The owner Michael was very personable and easy to talk to. Would recommend for anyone going to MoalBoal 10/10

The staff were very nice and accommodating, and the pool was nice. The bathroom was very clean and spacious as was the room but….
The room needs more furniture, even just rudimentary benches to pace our suitcases on. They had to stay on the floor. There is no mini fridge or kettle for tea or coffee. They do have free water and coffee ant reception but it would be nice to be able to brew our own. The road to this resort is horrific - enormous potholes.

The property itself is beautiful and well maintained. The foliage is gorgeous and lovely to spend time in.
My room opened up to an incredible ocean view and I loved drinking my coffee in the mornings while listening to the waves.
The staff is top notch, I experienced some of the best customer service I have had anywhere in SE Asia here. Helpful, friendly and professional.
Internet worked consistently and well.
Good hot water in the shower.
Room was clean.
AC worked well.
Felt very safe there. I left my room unlocked while hanging out around the pool and swimming off the beach and had no concerns about security.
Drinks at the bar were good and reasonably priced as was the food in the restaurant.
The owner is awesome, if you get a chance to chat with him he’s got some great stories and his children are super sweet kids. I also loved their dog and appreciated his willingness to receive belly rubs and ear scratches.
I would have liked to dive with them but unfortunately was having some ear issues and couldn’t go and they were so kind and understanding of my need to cancel dive plans.
It is quite far from town and the road to town is pretty rough but the staff will happily call a trike to get you to and from town. The driver they arranged for us was a doll and very helpful.
There isn’t really a beach out front though there is one within walking distance of the resort and you can still snorkel right out front.
A table or rack for my suitcase would have been nice rather than having to put it on the floor.
Beds are typical of this area of the world and firmer than I prefer as a side sleeper.

We stayed in the honeymoon suite which felt like being in our own rest house in Moalboal. Enjoyed the foliage all over, the fresh air, the good food and the warm vibes! We were delighted to meet Michael, the owner, and are looking forward to coming back to his beautiful resort.
That we only stayed one night! :(

Clean spacious rooms, mosquito net provided.
First impression: Dirty, cloudy pool. Second, no warm welcome after battling a long, broken up road in heat. It continued to disappoint... Food terrible with metal staple pieces in the pasta. Snorkel masks ripped and leaking, being charged for bikes we did not use or ask for, mold on bathroom walls/ceiling, and trash outside our window. The final straw..being asked to pay cash at check out resulting in us having to walk over 2 miles to an ATM ( no customer service to accomodate). We do not recommend this establishment. It was way overpriced, value not there.

The staff were very kind and friendly. We chatted a bit and had a great conversation. There were a lot of mosquitoes, but they provided mosquito coils for free. The food there was good.
There was no staff available early in the morning, so we had to make sure to settle the bill by 8 p.m., which was a bit inconvenient. We also asked for a comforter, but it was forgotten. The room could be better furnished to make it more comfortable.

Staff were very pleasant and helpful, food was good and reasonably priced
No sand beach, not swimmer friendly nor for beach walking or hiking. Too much foliage, with trees, bushes and shrubs everywhere, blocking views and making it difficult to navigate the premises. Pool area was not inviting, being close to the street, entry and reception area, without room to lounge.
