Staff is always great. The transfer from Caticlan Airport to Blue Marina could have been better but the transfer from Blue Marina to Caticlan airport was better. The food (breakfast) should already have a shuffle at this point. I've stayed so many times already and it's still the same as years ago. Still, it was a comfortable stay.
I guess over the years the facilities have not been upgraded or cleaned? The room we initially were at did not have a proper shower head anymore and and the one we were transferred in to was also weak. The vent on the bathroom doors have probably not been cleaned for years. I hope some improvements are made.

We had an excellent experience with Blue Marina. From the time we arrived, there was someone who picked us up from the airport, brought us to ride the ferry and assisted us to land transportation all the way to our hotel. All the shuttle service was included free with the hotel. This was very convenient for us. We were welcomed with a free drink and cold towels. The staff were exceptional. The hotel is a quaint bed and breakfast with about 12 rooms. Everything was personalized, the staff knew us by name and our daily breakfast was served with our requested time. We had free use of pool and beach amenities in the sister hotel (Coast) which was a short walk from the hotel. The hotel was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The rooms are spacious that can easily fit 3 people. I highly recommend this hotel.
It is not beach front but it's a short stroll to the beach so its not a big deal.

Breakfast sets were superb. Super like the tapa. Hotel was just a few steps away from the beach. Room was big enough for the two of us. Quiet. Got to relax as much as we like.
There's a slight disadvantage on the place when the rain pours.

Our stay at Blue Marina in Boracay was overall pleasant, with some standout features and a few minor drawbacks.
Pros:
• The transfer service was extremely smooth and convenient, which was especially appreciated as we were traveling with two small children. It made arriving and departing stress-free.
• We were welcomed with fruit and complimentary slippers, a nice and thoughtful touch.
• While Blue Marina itself doesn’t have a pool, we had access to the pool at their sister property, Coast, which was a short walk away. At Coast, we also enjoyed free soft-serve ice cream and popcorn, a highlight for both kids and adults.
• The location is very close to the beach, making it easy to enjoy the beautiful shoreline.
• The beds were comfortable, and the central location meant that everything we needed—restaurants, shops, and activities—was within walking distance.
• The room had access to several entertainment options on the TV, such as Netflix, which was great for downtime.
• The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, adding to the positive experience.
Cons:
• The room itself didn’t quite live up to the photos advertised online and could benefit from some updating or refreshing to match expectations.
• Mosquitoes were a recurring issue both in the room and around the property.
• The breakfast was average, and the dining area felt cramped. The presence of mosquitoes in the dining area made it less enjoyable.
• The balcony in our room wasn’t very inviting and could use some improvement.
• While Netflix was available, the account had a limited number of devices that could be used at the same time. This occasionally prevented our children from watching their programs as too many users were already logged in.
• While access to Costa’s pool was great, the short walk might be inconvenient for some, especially during hot or rainy weather.
In summary, Blue Marina is a good choice for families or anyone looking for a centrally located hotel with easy beach...

In station 2, very close to the beach but still far enough to be quiet from the night life music that can be loud on the beach front

They upgraded our rooms to coast, the facilities were amazing. We were greeted with refreshing drinks, popcorn and the service was on another level. On the beach, there was Jony, one of the butlers, and he was top notch. As we return from the beach, he wraps us with beach towels and fills our cups with ice cold water. Sharmine from the front desk was very helpful with any requests or questions we had. Honestly, the level of hospitality in this hotel is unmatched to any property I have ever stayed in. 10/10, would definitely recommend.
