Disappointing
House was large.
The house we stayed at was separate from the hotel, which was only communicated to us after the booking. We tried to chnage but wanting to charge as much as what we had already paid.
The house only had aircon in the bedrooms, in which one was not working well. No aircon in lounge room. Surrounding area was boring and not much to do.

Arrived after hours at 2000h-2100h, even before getting off the car we were greeted by the staff. He helped us with our luggage, provided assistance, and gave recommendations. He remained polite despite issues with the booking.

The location was perfect to easily walk and reach the limited numbers of touristic hot spots in Taal. It is worth to visit the wet market since there you can find a huge amount of fresh food etc. on display.
The pool of the hotel was perfectly sized and the view from its location to the West Philippine Sea (WPS) over the city was beautiful.
The restaurant had unfortunately only a limited amount of a locally(!) produced beer on stock. While the quality of the "local" food was good and plenty of option.

Staffs are very kind and helpful. Always available when needed. The swimming pool was great and it was nice to have food choices for breakfast.
Isolation of the room, noise was very loud during the night/morning.
It would be great if the lighting in the room were brighter.
It could also be nice to have curtains that actually darkens the room for a better sleeping rest as the sun is up from 5-6 am.
Lastly, it was too bad the bar closes early.

We recently stayed (7/21-7/22/24) at Paradores del Castillo Hotel in preparation for our prenup photoshoot, and it was an exceptional experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly accommodating and friendly, especially the Kuyas at the entrance. Their warm welcome set the tone for our stay.
The hotel itself is beautifully maintained. The linens were clean and smelled wonderful, and the bathrooms were spotless. The ambiance was very homey and welcoming, making us feel as though we had traveled back in time. The community atmosphere truly added to the charm of our stay.
The food at Cucina de Jardin was fantastic and worth every penny. Additionally, we highly recommend Casa Recuerdos for photoshoots. The costumes were laundered and clean, and the staff were very accommodating, assisting us up to the last minute.
Overall, our stay at Paradores del Castillo was delightful, and we would highly recommend it to friends and family.

The place is so beautiful and clean.. and the staff are very accommodating lastly the foods is also delicious
The room is not cold enough but its very understandable because the weather is very hot the time when we checked in but in afternoon until the day we checked out the air conditioning is good.
