Pleasant
It is a pleasant enough stay for an overnight. Anything beyond 2 days is overkill. There is not much to do. One.. there is no beach. No sand. Just straight into the ocean for some snorkeling or scuba if the weather permits. Yes, the water is clear, you CAN see fish but not much live corals near the non-existent shore. NO LIFEGUARD on duty either. You have to HIRE a snorkeling guide for 1650 per person for 2 hrs. The supposed cathedral and nearby marine sanctuary is not so near. Unless you’re a pro, you will be tired before you even reach it so without a guide, you’re out of luck. Because again, no lifeguard.
Rooms are nice and cool. Aircon was new. It’s clean. However, if your beds are covered in the brown/green blanket… ask for the beddings to be changed right away. Ask for the white duvets. As soon as we arrived, my kid lay down face first on the brown/green bed cover and in minutes came up with lots of red bites on his face. Once linens were changed to the plain white ones however, we spent a pleasant 4 days without a single bite.
Food. Portions are big—however, they are redundant and for locals, overpriced. You will be spending approximately 500 per person, per meal. And since this place is very remote, there is no food panda or grab. There’s free wifi at the lobby and resto and also in your room but limited to 1 device per person. It is also a steep incline going out of the place so you’re basically stuck here unless you want to subject your car (and driving skills) going in and out of the resort in search of cheaper and yummier food. It’s right next to the sea but barely have any seafood on their menu AND these are from the supermarket. Not fresh caught. There is no option of “paluto” or freshly grilled seafood unless Tilapia can suddenly breath in salt water. Oh and room service comes with an additional 20% on the price of the food you ordered. Coming from the room to the resto… there is no shade. So you’re either under the sun or under the rain.
Breakfasts are good and standard. The “Calamansi Pie” is worth it. Everything else… is glorified canteen food with big portions. Nothing that will make you say “I’m ordering that again”. Resto table cleanliness is a miss for me as well. Whatever spilled on your tablecloth the day before (or floor) will still be there the next day. When they saw me taking pictures and videos of the state of things, the manager suddenly asked all servers to start polishing all the utensils already laid out on all tables. Even the plants stuck in water glasses as center pieces had little mosquito babies squirming around in it. Which tells you that they don’t change the water or move those things at all.
Pools are nice. Around 4 ft. Clean. The slide is rough… so only certain swimsuits will slide on it. Be careful of your skin. It is already abrasive.
They advertised several activities which all have their own separate prices. Standard for most resorts. Gel Blaster gun shooting (don’t bother—the gun batteries are all dead and broken). Trampoline… nice and big but the rusted legs will make any mom worry about their kids bouncing in it. And this is usually free in other resorts we’ve been to. Crystal kayak… looks ok. Hand paddle boats… ok. Fishing… didn’t try.
For those who like karaoke… it’s 2500 per 3 hours. Halleluyah. The price meant nobody wanted to sing. Hence peaceful nights. Yes!!!! As a sidenote: Massage is 900/hour.
Saltwater reef pool. Free to use. Great for kids and adults who don’t want to risk the open water. There are fish in there and one particular sad looking giant grouper. No live corals however. Good enough for folks wanting to learn how to dive or just float around safely looking at fish.
Here’s the clincher--- they advertise that they are a beach and dive resort. There is NO beach at the resort. The beach is at a nearby island called Sepoc which Eagle Point supposedly owns and manage. To get there, you have to pay 4125 for the round trip boat ride—max 8 people.

Good
Scenery & Views, Food is Generous.
Dated amenities even with modern upgrades. With the extra fees, the place could have done better than pocketing extra. Beds could be much comfortable and there is no hot water.

Poor
The cleanliness around the sports area was pathetic, medieval century pool table and chess board pieces were incomplete.
Food service was very slow specially during a limited breakfast menu. Communication within staff poor. Had to ask 10 times for an ironing board which was eventually refused.

This is a bad experience for us. Our purpose here is to go scuba diving. When checking in the hotel we asked very clearly about the diving service until the end of the end. They answered me as 6pm. 4pm we registered the receptionist. They said they closed diving service. Unprofessional staff. This is like an abandoned area that no one comes. Old and not worth the payment. Bad food and Staff . Advise you not to come here but because I really regret choosing this resort

Poor
Didn't like anything about this property
Access to property is treacherous. Very difficult to find. Steep clifftop decent in a poorly maintained van. Room was smelly, damp, musty. Bathroom absolutely stank to high heaven. It was dirty with cockroaches. There was a leak. No wifi in room even though we paid for it. Food was disgusting. And it wasn't cheap. We booked for 2 nights but left after 1. Staff know the score, they basically said they know of all the problems.

Exceptional
The room size was generous with a super clean bathroom. The food from the restaurant was also very good with generous servings. I was pleasantly surprised I didn't have to walk down 200 steps like most resorts in the area.
Their in-house dive centre was well run and organised.
There were no block out curtains. It's not a deal breaker, but if you want to sleep late, bring an eye mask.

Place is nice place for relaxation. However medyo mahirap access papunta sa place and kulang ng mga signages, pwede ka mawala. Pero their staff naman is very accommodating and helpful. From the parking area to main hotel meron din sila shuttle/jeep.Foods are medyo pricy but masarap naman. Yung beach is mabato but have option for pool with slide. Maybe they can develop and fill portion with white sands for beach access. Overall its 8/10.

My recent stay at Eagle Point Resort was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, the staff’s warm hospitality set the tone for an unforgettable experience. Nestled amidst breathtaking natural beauty, the resort offers a serene escape from the chaos of daily life.
The accommodations were impeccable—spacious, spotlessly clean, and thoughtfully designed to maximize comfort while blending harmoniously with the surrounding environment. Waking up to the stunning views of lush greenery and tranquil waters was an absolute dream.
The amenities are top-notch. Whether you’re looking to relax by the pool, explore outdoor adventures, or simply unwind with a book surrounded by nature, Eagle Point has it all. Their on-site dining options were equally impressive—every meal was a delightful blend of flavors, prepared with care and using the freshest ingredients.
What truly sets this resort apart, however, is the staff. Every member of the team went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. Their genuine kindness and attention to detail made us feel like valued guests throughout our visit.
If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat that combines luxury, comfort, and unparalleled service, Eagle Point Resort is the place to be. I can’t recommend it highly enough and can’t wait to return!
I love every thing about the resort

Nothing
Despite being advertised as a ‘beach and dive resort’ - it really isn’t either of those. The sandy beach is a boat ride away, and there are no proper diving packages available - as most normal dive centres would have, they only have a ‘2-dive package’, no discount for multiple dives (which was the whole point of staying there, for a dive holiday) and the dive pricing was FAR more expensive than other resorts.
And the hotel was horribly old and ragged - in serious need of a refurbishment.
Left after first night, and checked in somewhere else as it simply wasn’t what was advertised.
Eagle Point refused to refund the 5 further nights we didn’t stay, and despite several emails chasers to their management - their final offer was a voucher to stay the unused 5 nights on another date. Honestly I’d rather stick pins in my eyes than stay here.

The place is so relaxing and cozy . The Manager and Staff are so welcoming and friendly. You can enjoy snorkeling just in front of the hotel cause the ocean water is very clear. And there is a lot of different fishes .
