Wonderful
The driveway /sidewalk was severely angled down. Especially bad in the rain

Very Good
The location on the outskirt of town was very good for us. We liked having a sitting area in the room. The room was pretty clean, but the pool had a bit of foam in it, which made us suspicious. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
There was a lot of noise coming from the street and it is impossible to close the window.

Location
Very basic. Didn’t have soap for shower. No closing window in bathroom. Bats outside bedroom window making noise day and night. Every room has a “pool view” bedroom view looked like a dungeon.

Poor
I'm having trouble sleeping at night due to the old aircon's noise.
Also, I have a few concerns:
- Towels need replacement as they are extremely old.
- Staff keeps knocking on the door even before checkout time.

Disappointing
The noise from the street traffic where my room was facing, was so loud, I couldn't sleep.

Pleasant
Friendly and helpful staff.
The rooms are a joke. Old, broken and frayed furniture. The room layouts are hilarious. Every lightswitch is hidden behind a door on the hinged side. You must grope in the dark to find the lightswitch. Cold water shower. The pool was unuseable the first 5 days of my 19 day stay. TV remote is too weak to change stations from the bed. You must get up and move close to the tv every time you change stations or or volume. Smart TV with a long learning curve to figure out operation. Really, this place is almost laughable. It is LGBTQ friendly, so if you're not into that sort of thing, many of the other guests look pretty nasty - gay men sitting in their rooms with the curtains open in plain view, wearing only under pants and making eye contact if you walk by their rooms - gay couples stumbling to their rooms after a night of heavy partying. I would have cancelled my reservation or the booking if I had known in advance. After I paid, it was too late. I liked the staff, who actually moved me to a less horrible room after a few days. There is a massage parlor on the ground floor that offers in-room services. I decided not to try them. Beware. This is a budget operation with cheap rates and you still don't get what you pay for. Again I did enjoy the staff, who went about their business oblivious to the outlandish acommodations. Jackie at the desk and Ben, the security guy were both cool. Some people might like the funkiness of this place, but even the tolerant won't like more than a day or two. My recommendation is spend a few dollars more and stay at a decent budget hotel such as Eurotel.

Room doesn't have ac but an old fashioned condenser fan, on it's last legs... everything falling apart and broken. Pool out of action for half my stay. Staff didn't care or know when it would be resolved. Ant and roach problem.
