Booked this location for a local friend. Price was very low and she did not mind so positive. The staff was quite nice and helpful. They have a service trike to take you to find ATM if you need it
You get what you pay for. Its a no frills place to stay for cheap. Not sure how guest friendly it is but they probably don't mind. I wouldn't book it for myself but if my friend needs a place to stay I might book it for her again. She seemed happy with it.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Liza and her husband Jun Jun were very pleasant and addressed any concerns I had. They provided toiletries and cleaned my room upon request. I met the Australian owner, Preston, who is a very nice man and pilot. There is a sari-sari store on the premises, and you can purchase snacks, drinks, beer, etc. Jun Jun took me to the VFW one day and on my last day, he took me to my new address, which is in a neighboring barangay. I appreciated that. I would stay at Angeles Guest House again, and I recommend it to anyone seeking a low-budget alternative to more expensive hotels.
The location is a little bit off the beaten path. The road it's on is unpaved and rocky, and it's very dark at night. The barangay is Plaridel 1. It's not far from the bars on Perimeter Road and Walking Street, though. There is a trike station close to the guesthouse, but I noticed the trikes are not there at night. You can walk down Mabini Street to Malabanias and turn left, and there is another trike station where you can get a trike even at night. Note: Perimeter Road is now called Don Juico Avenue, and Walking Street has been renamed Red Street.

Owners are friendly and helpful. Room has everything what I need: AC (on the corridor, but it's efficient - temperature in the room was cool), a fan, a fridge, a sink, a glass, a private bathroom with warm water. The location is good: close to the airport, to the bus terminal, to SM Clark and to the Walking Street (if you are interested in that kind of entertainment).
Cockroaches and a little bit too high price. In other places in the Philippines I could find a cheaper accommodation. In Angeles City this guesthouse is the cheapest, but you get the same quality for twice as much price.

The location is close to the malls, eateries, and other places for relaxation. The room was comfortable, and met all my needs. Owners/staff informed me of the right rates for trikes, so that I'd avoid being overcharged.
My expectations of the place were more than met. I don't have anything to complain about.
