The location of the hotel, just a couple of blocks from the Plaza de Armas is extremely convenient for checking out the most popular sights as well as many excellent food options. The hotel itself has rooms on two floors around a long central courtyard. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The sound insulation isn't great but the other guests and the surrounding street quieted down early enough so as not to disturb our sleep. The staff overall was pleasant and helpful. It was certainly what we needed in a hotel and a great value for the room rate.
When we arrived after a long and hot travel day, there was no water with which to shower or flush the toilet. We were told it was an issue with the water utility. While we hadn't been notified before our arrival and they wouldn't cancel the reservation, they did cover a taxi fare to their sister property and give us the use of a room to shower and get refreshed. It wasn't a huge deal but the communication could have been better and the process a bit more smooth. Also, while the listing describes extra large beds, in reality they're standard sized (like US full-size). Again, not a problem but could be clearer.

The location was great and friendliness of the staff.
Lack of simple amenities like an iron and ironing board. I didn’t like the bed covers( thick, heavy blanket wrapped in a bedsheet), old pillows.

This is a nice old building, very close to the center, good breakfast.
Room 101 should not be offered for guests.
It's across the reception, next to the hotel entrance. Walls trembling when the bus is passing by. Other guests are trying to get in, because they think it's where the stuff is.
The receptionist speaks good English but forget it once you ask why the bill is $6 more than you booked.

Katty was exceptionally helpful and kind. The room was comfortable and relatively large. The shower had lots of hot water and pressure. Breakfast was good. The courtyard is beautiful.
The courtyard is narrow and therefore sound is amplified making it noisy when guests are speaking loudly, and while pulling suitcases over the cobblestones. A sign asking guests to speak softly during sleeping hours might be helpful.

The place was perfectly located closed to restaurants and to the places you want to visit when in Arequipa. Also the staff was supe friendly and gave me good tips of what to do see and do. The location is just right in the city center basically and close to most everything. Easy for you to get an uber at the hotel. The room was huge and the bathroom was also big.

Clean and comfortable room. Friendly staff. Good breakfast. Good location, in a short walk to Plaza de Armes. We were able to check in early and store our luggage before an early evening flight.

The room is quite cold at night. The blanket is quite heavy, way too warm and not breathable. I wake up multiple times at night sweating...

Excellent staff and facility. The hotel is like an oasis in the inside; so serene and beautiful. They allowed us to check in super early since our bus arrived at 5am and helped us with tours and made our stay comfortable. Breakfast was excellent and lots of space inside the hotel to hang out as well. Overall, an excellent value for Arequipa!

We really liked the hotel and the decoration. It was peaceful and beautiful. The shower and the beds were great. The fact that you could completely close the light out of the room.
We liked our room 202 with a double bed, but room 109 (3 single beds) located underneath the breakfast area was super noisy in the morning
