Location and cleanliness
It was pretty basic. Breakfast was in this tiny dark room where access to the small food that was available was difficult (in an enclave in the wall, where you had to wait for other people to walk back through the tables to access). They did not even offer milk for the coffee, and this latter was terrible. I asked a question about trips and was just told to read the pamphlets at the stand. The staff seemed very not interested in helping. I asked for some hot water for tea one evening and the person seemed very bothered and put out. I would not recommend unless you are in a lurch. I am sure there is better value for money in other hostels.

The staff was very kind and helpful, allowing us to check in early, to store our luggage and being flexible with breakfast (we left early for a hike so we took our breakfast another day instead). Location is very convenient, 5 mins walk to the main square. We had a great time and would highly recommend it.

The hotel is a beautiful historical building in center of town, just a 5 minute walk from main square.

Good location, comfortable clean room, quiet, breakfast was simple but good/sufficient, workers were really nice, stored my luggage for free while trekking, great spot for me before and after a hard trek
The only thing that could be better would be to have keys for the front door, they have to buzz you in and out…it’s not a big deal, didn’t bother me all that much and it’s good that they know who is coming and going

The room with private terrace was very nice. It was also clean and very convenient for the Plaza de Armas etc
There is a problem in that there is a nightclub opposite which played very loud music until after 4am in the morning.on both nights we were there. Sleeping is therfore difficult even with earplugs. We stayed on Saturday and Sunday nights

No one ever mentioned that the hotel has a close by a disco bar that makes a unbearable and unbelievable noise the whole night. Till 3 AM , when we left for the trek we nearly slept

I liked the balcony. The breakfast could have been better. The people were great. Wonderful building and location.
You had to ring the bell to have them let you in every time. Only instant coffee.
