This boutique hotel was located in a neighborhood just a 10 minute walk from the Plaza de Armas. Eddy, the owner, refurbished the old manor to resemble it's original state. This manor stands proud and elegant with it's original splendor. Eddy was on hand to answer questions and help in any way possible. The breakfast was amazing with made-to-order eggs plus homemade orange juice and breads. Laundry service with ironing was available for a small cost.
The first floor room with a balcony was on the street side so it did not offer privacy.

We loved our stay at Casa Arequipa! The house is historic and beautiful with each room, tastefully decorated. Our room was clean, comfortable and had antique furniture with woven tapestries on the walls. We found the beds to be comfortable and appreciated the complimentary teas that they offered in the common area. The breakfast on the terrace was delicious and filling, with a nice view of the volcano and the city. The staff were exceptional. They were always available if you needed anything and Edy was a fantastic host!
They gave us a list of suggested restaurants for lunch and dinner and the 3 that we went to were really good.
The location was in a quiet neighborhood and only 10-15 minute walk from the Plaza de Armes. We felt safe walking around at night and the house is secure with a gate.
I highly recommend that you stay here while in Arequipa!

The owner is truly wonderful — he went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. He prepared packed food for my hike, lent me a towel for my trip, and even let me keep the room until my flight time.
The property itself is beautiful — a charming, well-designed old house with lots of character. Breakfast is served on a lovely balcony overlooking the mountains.
Overall, I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay!
The center is about 10-15 minutes walk, may be far for some people

The owner and staff were so friendly! Breakfast was great- simple but wonderful fruit, cheese, and bread with the option of eggs. We would absolutely stay here again.
I would have preferred to have a key or code to let myself in to the building. I felt bad that they needed to always be "on call". Also note that you're a 10-15 minute walk to the center. It's easy going back but somewhat uphill when leaving. Nice,.quiet neighborhood.

The staff is really professional and thoughtful towards the guests, with recommendations and dedicated attention. The breakfast, though simple, is very filling. The bed is quite comfortable
The only downside is that the wifi signal is very poor from the room. Not a big deal, so that's why this is still a 9/10 for me

This property was very well maintained, with a very comfortable bed and pillows. The area is nice and walkable to local restaurants and not too far from the city's historic center. Unfortunately, we didn't get to enjoy it long enough as we had a 3 am pickup for a tour of Colca Canyon.

There are so many things to love about this place - the rooms are spacious and super clean, the bed was so big and comfortable, the colonial style of the hotel, the rooftop views while having a great breakfast, and finally the staff which were all so kind and helpful with literally everything!
We had some trouble with hot water but this was quickly fixed.

On a long trip through Peru and Argentina, it was great to have an at home like experience. Big comfortable house with beautiful roof terrace with sunny views of at least two volcanos. Breakfast served up there, coffee, fresh fruit, rolls, eggs. Lobby has a big table and a living alcove with lots of books to enjoy. Soft drinks, beer, wine available along with hot water for tea. Laundry service. Quiet for sleeping. Just ask staff for anything. They are available during the day and evening. Great security as everyone must buzzed in. Affluent neighborhood, safe 15 min walk or 5 min taxi to center. Host, Eddy speaks excellent English and is knowledgeable and friendly. Most guests are from Europe.
For a long stay, more variety at breakfast. There are several quality places to eat nearby, but you may need to go back to centro for dinner.

The property is elegant and very tasteful in design and presentation. In addition to beautiful rooms, there is a rooftop patio, where they serve breakfast that has exceptional views, and great furnishings as well.

I was surprised to find that this hotel is right in the middle of a neighborhood on a busy street and not set apart. The closed windows did a good job keeping the traffic noise out. Our room was very comfortable and spacious . The manager Eddy was extremely helpful and informative. It’s about a 10-15 minute walk from the downtown area, and an easy walk back from downtown as it’s slightly downhill.
If you get in later and you want a place to eat, there is a very nice restaurant just around the corner. There is no elevator, but Eddie kindly carried our bags upstairs. Breakfast is served to you and it includes eggs, fruit and bread. They have a nice room on the top of the building.
The heavy traffic on our street. If I were to leave the windows open, the fumes from the cars would definitely bother me.
