- 25minute walk to the corniche and souq
- friendly staff, facilitated early check in with no issue
- good variety of food at breakfast
- good size room with air conditioning
- excellent price given location
- the Wi-Fi was very poor throughout the property
- we stayed on the 3rd floor and the water pressure in the shower wasn’t very good! (But temperature fine)
- none of the machines in the gym worked
- decor slightly dated

Great hotel with a lovely swiming pool! Room was nice and big. Staff was great.
Hotel is not far from the Mutrah Souq, but not close either. (30 minutes, around 2km by walk, but a bit along the highway)

Wonderful
The room was comfortable, value for money, and good for short stay. Door locks were smart, and we felt very good in the place. Would definitely look forward to future booking.

I booked a 2-night stay but arrived early morning after a long journey to find my room unclean, with hairs, dust in corners, and a dirty kettle and cups. As I was exhausted, I didn’t complain immediately.
The next day, the receptionist called asking for my checkout time and insisted my booking was only for 1 night, despite me showing my confirmation. At the reception, he showed a completely different booking and couldn’t find mine. The manager was unavailable, and when contacted, asked if I wanted to extend my stay— when I already had a confirmed 2-nights booking.
The staff are not well trained and unprofessional, mishandling the situation entirely. This ruined my stay, so I checked out on the same day and request a refund for the 2nd night. Extremely disappointed—I will not be returning.

There’s nothing to like about the property to be honest.
The property is so inside uphill that it doesn’t connect to main road straight. Very far from bus stops or any nearby shops. This hotel is not meant for people who don’t have vehicle of their own. The locks were broken, the furnitures were old, the bath tub wasn’t even clean. The water pressure is terrible. The bidet and shower gives drops of water when opened. When we first told the receptionist that we didn’t like this property as it is too far, there was not even a bit of remorse and he asked us to cancel very rudely.

They allowed us to check in earlier to another room, the pool was good, and we were the only ones using it at the moment.
There was very small pressure of water at the 3rd floor.

Disappointing
Our room was quiet. The out door pool and surrounding environment was exceptional. View of mountain, flowers, in Oman's warm weather was unforgettable for us. They let us to stay more than standard check out time to have smooth moving.
At our arrival our room was 304 (written on the reservation paper) which has pool and garden view, however, the guy in reception tried to deceive us that if we want to have WIFI we should have another room (room No 324 which is a small room located in the middle of the building without any outside view, I think he wants to rent that room to others for a higher price than what is illustrated in booking.com), while all the rooms have connection to WIFI's signal. Notably, we had two two-night stays there, and only on the first day did we have a connection to the internet; there was a signal, but no internet connection. I spoke with the guys in reception too many times, and each try they said they would fix it, but they didn't. I asked him to provide clean towels and water, but he didn't care.

I liked the poop and the proximity to the tourist hub. The room was decent and comfortable and the AC was cold.
The front desk staff were not super friendly. The lobby was not super clean and there were date pits everywhere. Also when I checked out at 4am there were 3 nuggets of poop on the floor near the one of the couches. The room was comfortable but everything was a little run down. Also my trashes weren’t take out from the last guest. The water never got hot and there was a sewage smell coming from the bathroom sink.
