Location on the beach. Very nice living rooms to sit in downstairs.
Our room was shabby as was the bathroom. View disappointing. Decor needs improvement in our room.

Very quiet location with easy access to the main attractions via taxi. Nice and well organized staff. Spacious room with nice view. Would come back any time
Beach is not clean as it is more of a fisherboat area. would not expect to swim there

Really enjoyed my stay at Lana Villa. The two ladies who run things day to day are so lovely and helpful, they prepared breakfast early when requested due to a trip I'd booked, let me use their iron, and offered to store my luggage for me after I checked out. The omelettes were great too!
The owner Oliver is also very nice and always introduced himself to guests, and offered tips for travelling in Oman.
The villa itself has some nice shared spaces such as the roof terrace and the main lounge downstairs, with books and travel guides. There's also a shared fridge for guests to keep things in which was useful.
Overall a great stay and good location, about 10 minutes from the airport by taxi.

Loved the relaxed feel of this small hotel. Very helpful staff. Loved that you could help yourself to tea, coffee and water through the day. Breakfast was good. The view overlooking the beach (fishing area) was lovely. Having space outside to sit and relax outside was very nice. It was quiet. Really liked it.
Muscat covers a huge area. This hotel is quite a long way from mutrah fort, national museuem etc so you you need a car to get anywhere. We used the otaxi app all the time, which worked very well. It wasn't easy to find good places to eat locally and the pavements are not all good. Despite the location I would stay here again. Otaxi app is great and much cheaper. The hotel could do with some tlc in places but overall we really enjoyed our stay. It was a very relaxing stay.

The bedroom with balcony over looking the sea was great, very good size and great location for our last 3 days on Oman. Staff were warm and welcoming and the downstairs area is big and open . Breakfast is great.
Room 1 needs a good coating of paint to cover the signs of humidity that are showing on the walls. Quite some dust on the paintings and behind furniture (I have a dust mite allergy so am very sensitive to this)

Good Breakfast. We were able to get breakfast an hour earlier then usual. Clean Rooms. Nice common area.
Very simple Room and Bathroom. Not taking care of some broken things like lamp, smoke detector and bathroom ventilator. We even had to take a cold shower. WLAN is not working yet.

** No room service means no service man !!
** No phone inside room - how can we call staff for help ??

** Need immediate proper maintenance because door locks were not working ??
