Great bed.
Good location spoiled by difficult access
Access to the property and information about the easiest and cheapest ways to get in to the hotel. It cost me a taxi fare when I could have walked in for nothing and saved a lot of time.
Endless trouble with room keys that didn’t work on lift or room door.
Too much climbing.

Great location with a pub right underneath. Handy to the nightlife as well as the stadium.
The single beds are a bit on the small side for big lads. Still comfy though.

I liked the quietness of the room, comfortable bed, the buffet breakfast was alright and the view of the city... even though there wasn't much to see it was a really nice room to stay in.
I didn't like the cleanliness of the bathroom... there was a lot of grime build up underneath the plug in the sink and it was broken, so I had to keep removing it for the water to go down the drain. There was a step up into the bathroom as well and that was so dangerous because there was no safety/protection on the corner, meaning that it became an OHS issue and learnt my lesson when I almost tripped up it the first time using the bathroom. Be careful!

The Location. The Hotel was open 24 hours. I felt safe even if we'd go back to our room at the wee hours. I love the bed. The carpet not so much. Over all I think I would recommend this place.
The floor carpet was not as clean as I expected it to be. I had to use my slippers.

easy check in. Bed was so comfortable and big.
The room is just tired. Needs a freshen up. Better directions need to be given in regard to accessing exit to Lambton Quay as it is quite a rabbit warren wandering around.

Having a gym was good and close to food options
You could only watch about 3 of the 20 or so tv channels as the rest had no sound at all reception said they knew about this but obviously haven't done anything about it as I read about this one other previous reviews

Room was clean and comfortable. Location was perfect! Easy to see everything you want to in Wellington proper. We arrived from a long international flight early and the staff was very accommodating to get us settled. I’d definitely stay again. Good value for the money
Room was a tad bit small but would not stop me from staying here again.

Not much.
Good luck finding it. Not at street address but on passage way from Lambton Quay. Only way up down is long flight of stairs. Never would have stayed here had I know that. No ice when we arrived

The property is located in the CBD amidst other high rise buildings two blocks from the waterfront and a 5 minute walk from the cable car.
The room was comfortable and clean, as one would expect from the Travelodge brand. The kitchenette was reasonably well- equipped.
The elevators are operated by a security-card system which was not always reliable. I and many other guests found it frustrating at first.

Tv had no sound for normal channels, pancakes at breakfast were burnt and muffins dry. Juice run out and was not refilled

Very handy location with easy access to Lambton Quay, Willis Street, waterfront, etc. Was perfect location for moving our daughter into Boulcott Hall. Included breakfast was great and staff were friendly & helpful. Handy to have fridge and cutlery and crokery in room for taling food back to room. Gym was even pretty decent.
We booked a triple room & the bed for our daughter was a single fold out bed that was very creaky and quite narrow. Room was also very narrow with a gap that was barely big enough to squeeze past end of bed. A few things were broken (window latch, bathroom bin).
