Comfortable beds and friendly staff made the stay a good one
Was disappointed to find the spa bath barely worked, and the restaurant is non existent so I had to order in as I had no vehicle to go looking for food.

Fernhill is a great place to stay with our Golden Retriever when we travel and conveniently located for getting the Ferry.

We have stayed at Fernhill on several times with our Golden Retriever and have found it it to be our home away from home. It has everything we need there and our 'boy' even remembers the room he was in last visit ❤️

Great location for accessing Wellington activities, close to public transport. Good size room and spacious facilities.
No air con so rooms were very hot and with windows open was quite noisy with motorway adjacent.

My Stay of choice when in Lower Hutt. Lovely management & Staff, great parking, room was cosy & comfy. Loved the private outdoor table & chairs - lovely sitting in the sun

Dodgey and noisey guests coming and going at all hours, suspect this property is also used for homeless government housing. Full on domestic arguments in the car park and speeding cars coming and going. One guy walked out of the motel and smashed a whole box of beer on the ground out the front of the car park. Unusual odours in room and mould in bathroom
