Love the spacious rooms, comfy beds and the location of Citylife.
Getting taxi's or Ubers from here can be a pain. Sometimes they get lost and the access is limited so you need to plan ahead.

The apartment was massive, with two large bedrooms and bathrooms. It had a well-supplied kitchen and fun stuff in the goodie bags in the bathroom. Wish that I had that hand soap at home, as I loved the scent! Loved the warmed towel racks. We didn't need or use the large dining room, but it was good to have to put daypacks on, etc.
I'd highly recommend staying here because of the location and the huge size. My husband immediately said he'd;ike to stay there for our entire time in NZ!
The apartment would have been a "10" if there had been a floor or table lamp next to the couch. I found the lack of adequate lighting by the couch extremely shortsighted.
Perhaps because we don't live in NZ, but we didn't know why there were two trash cans next to each other by the kitchen. Was one for recycling? Would be good to know.
Unfortunately, the first staff member we met when we arrived was less than friendly or welcoming. The two male staff members I met later were friendly and helpful.

We were very happy with our room, much better than we expected. a one bed room that was very nice and comfortable. location is great in the centre of CBD. 7 minute walk to train station and ferry. Bus stop just out front.

Very nice room, and kitchenette. Large bathrooms. We were lucky enough to get upgraded to a larger room with a nice view of the city.

Room was fairly quiet apart from the neighbours. Bed was comfy and it was very spacious. Great location.
The staff at reception were hopeless. We waited more that 10 minutes before we were acknowledged even though one staff member appeared to be just standing doing nothing.
Rooms are very dated and need a bit of a spruce up. Poor lighting - only one small external window. Freezer was filthy - full of dirty ice.

Perfect location for all our planned activities, very spacious and comfortable rooms, with all the expected amenities plus washer and dryer. We have been traveling for 6 weeks this trip and really appreciated this property. I was surprised how very quiet the rooms were too.
There is nothing I would suggest changing.

The location to everything was perfect. A block away from the cable car, close to shops and restaurants. It is only a few blocks from the highway, 5 minutes from the Bluebridge ferry and the parking garage was a short walk from the hotel. The lobby is on the 6th floor, which is the ground level in back by the parking garage. This is where you need to go to check in. Once checked in you can take the elevator down to the street to explore the city. I would stay here again.
Our room was nice and had everything we needed. The bed was a bit soft for my taste and you kind of roll to the middle. Also the laundry facilities were out of commission when we were there.

We really appreciated having a washing machine and dryer.
Overall, our stay was good, but it wasn’t entirely clean. We noticed breadcrumbs on the couch and some dust in the dryer from previous guests. Also, one of the receptionists who checked us in was rude and didn’t even say hello. However, another receptionist we spoke to later was very helpful and friendly.
