The motel owners were very kind. The lady helped me when I couldn't open the door, and even helped carry my luggage in, (which she didn't need to).

A good location for a one night stay after arriving on the evening ferry on our way north. Good eating options nearby. Unit has been recently updated.
Bed was too soft for us. Not so good for light sleepers as there are a number of passing trains quite late into the night. Internet only available in the sleeping area.

Dog friendly, clean and comfortable
noisy patrons coming in after 10 pm yelling,and giggling.A marching team were staying there.

Disappointing
Bed, sofa etc all comfortable. Kitchenette was well stocked, and a good shower.
But the bedroom is at the front near the carpark, with glass doors that let through loads of light & noise.
Lights right outside the door which you can't turn off, shining into the room all night
