We were only able to stay one night due to a packed itinerary but immediately wished we were staying longer at this beautiful relaxing spot. Shona made us feel very welcome upon check in and provided a nice breakfast in the morning. Our room was spacious and luxurious feeling and included a pretty terrace to enjoy the ambiance and the craftsmanship apparent in the beautiful stone and wood beamed building. It was just the two of us but would make a great gathering spot for a larger group and we noticed a spacious patio equipped with a grill. Seemed like a lovely spot to settle in to enjoy the beauty of Wanaka. A brief but memorable stay.

My son and I felt like we were in a historic, Tuscan villa with an amazing view of the sunset over the mountains. It is guarded by a stone wall that surrounds the property. This place had all the amenities needed to travel, unwind and relax. Quiet, lazy breeze. Exceptional star gazing! Close to shops and the beach. Romeo, the horse was a nice touch. Bring apples!!

Great value for the location. 15-20 minute walk to town and breweries. Beautiful, pastoral setting. The chalet was exactly as pictured.

Very comfortable bed and wonderful shower. Very peaceful looking out on a pasture with a horse. Staff very accommodating to make up an extra bed downstairs when requested.
Not thrilled about the stairs going up to the bedroom. Could be problematic getting up in the night.
