We stayed in the main house in the king with spa and it was so lovely! The room was large and clean. One of the best beds we had in our time visiting NZ which was soft and plush. The location is a short drive from town center and very quiet. The best shower pressure of any shower we had.

Nice location and the room was very nice.
My comments are meant to help improve the already very nice accomodations. Having laundry sitting out in the dining area and outside the room was a bit unprofessional. For the rate being charged the breakfast was lacking. It would be nice to add some protein. If you don't to cook have some meats and cheeses.

Nice stay. Lovely spot in many ways, but our room was near the busy road - so constant traffic in the morning (which I wasn't expecting). Not a problem though. In so many ways a lovely stay, the property is quite beautiful. However, as other reviews have mentioned - a bit tired, and out of town.
The bedroom being upstairs, meant that the bathroom was downstairs. So if you need to go to the bathroom during the night, you need to take this into consideration.

Room was spacious with good facilities and stylish furnishing. Good and neat breakfast arrangement.
Spider webs clang on the outdoor chairs and coffee table right at the entrance of the office. Grains of dust were observed laying on the thick carpet on the floor. My rating for this property would be higher if more care had been given on enhancing the cleanliness of this property.

Sunrise was beautiful. Liked being away from the town. Very spacious. Inn keeper was delightful
Landscaping was a bit overrun. Having to go downstairs to the bathroom wasn’t optimal. Pillow options could be improved.

We were only able to stay one night due to a packed itinerary but immediately wished we were staying longer at this beautiful relaxing spot. Shona made us feel very welcome upon check in and provided a nice breakfast in the morning. Our room was spacious and luxurious feeling and included a pretty terrace to enjoy the ambiance and the craftsmanship apparent in the beautiful stone and wood beamed building. It was just the two of us but would make a great gathering spot for a larger group and we noticed a spacious patio equipped with a grill. Seemed like a lovely spot to settle in to enjoy the beauty of Wanaka. A brief but memorable stay.
