Great stay at Black Peak View. Close to town, even walkable if you like. Lovely space, comfortable, clean and so very quiet. The view is fantastic. Nice to look out and see rabbits about. Hellen was a wonderful host. Would gladly stay again and again.

Lovely large garden room which was quite delightful and we were left a tasty continental breakfast with fresh muffins. Outside we had a choice of two shaded sitting out areas in an expansive garden. You could see the hills beyond.Our hosts were very nice, we felt welcomed. We liked the lovely-smelling toiletries!
We found the bed a little firm to our taste. It was a very hot night and there was a fan rather than aircon, but we felt okay leaving windows open. Otherwise fine.

Clean and spacious. Heat pump made it easy to heat. Well appointed kitchen made it usable so you didn’t have to eat out every night. Close enough to town to be handy but far away enough to make it quiet.

Really nice spot, warm and cosy, comfortable bed and a real working kitchen! Host was helpful (e.g. provided car window covers for the cold nights they were expecting frost/snow).
