The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Great facilities. Very close to town.
The bed was very firm, and our shower seemed to have a small leak.

Clean, comfortable, close to town and our unit even had a dishwasher!
The staff were super friendly and helpful.
The owners are the perfect hosts and go out if their way to oblige - finding clothes horses and phoning to tell me Id left jackets in the cupboard!

We loved everything about Archway Motel. Mark, the host, provided a lot of useful information about Wanaka. The room and kitchen itself were well equipped, clean, and comfortable for our family of 4 adults. The toilet was spacious, and the location was excellent. Plus, the hot tub was really comforting after a sunrise hike at Isthmus. The motel is also just a short 10-minute walk to town centre. Will definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay in Wanaka and will definitely come back if we have the chance.

Our room was comfortable and well-equipped for a family of 4. There were heaters, fans, electric blankets and air-conditioning so perfect for all sorts of weather! Convenient location to walk into town and to the lake.

Our studio room was spacious and immaculately clean. Beds were comfortable and with electric blankets which were needed on the night we stayed. The kitchen was well equipped and our room had a lovely open view to parkland. Across the park was the main road into town but we heard no traffic noise at all. Its a quick walk into town and all that Wanaka has to offer in the way of eating, drinking, shopping etc. The gardens are beautiful. Our host was welcoming and informative about places to eat and activities we might enjoy. I have no hesitation recommending Archway as your home away from home in Wanaka.
