For shared accommodations, the whole facility is really handsome and well-run.
Walls are very thin and you can hear the other guests roaming at all hours.

Wonderful
Super friendly staff, huge kitchen with a dishwasher, hot tub outside, and super cosy vibes! This didn't just feel like another hostel, it really felt like coming home. When we checked in we were given a walk-through by the lovely lady at reception which no other accommodation has done. Spare towels, pillows, blankets all provided at no extra cost.
Nothing - everything was perfect.

Absolutely loved my stay here! Lynn and Jeff were a true host! Great sense of humor and always available !
My room was very comfortable, spacious and clean! The lounge set up is perfect: ladies bathroom had two showers, two toilets and three sink with face towels always available. The kitchen area was large with anything you may need as well some extras like coffee, tea and sugar! Very well organized !
They also had a hot tub and a lounge area which I didn’t use! Car park was available inside the property!
To me the highlight was the complimentary bike available to ride around lake Wanaka! It was so much fun! There are so many bike paths around!
Highly recommended staying here!

Staff were very friendly and made sure we knew where everything was when we checked in. Comfortable bed, good Wi-Fi. Shared kitchen area was top notch, with everything we needed and dedicated space in the fridge for our groceries (no first come, first serve and hope everyone else has left you space). Shared bathroom facilities were spotless. Wonderfully relaxing after a long drive from Te Anau. There were a lot of information about activities to do in Wanaka and beyond; we found out about several short walks on the Haast Highway that we didn't know about. The Lodge is on the outer edge of the main part of town, so it's more peaceful than in the center of town. We would totally stay here again.
More of a FYI than a dislike - the downside of being on the peaceful, outer edge of town is there isn't much in the way of food shops close by. It's only about a 5 min drive by car to the nearest supermarket, back in the middle of town. If you're not coming by car, you may want to grab some groceries before you get here.

The room was very comfortable and clean, and it was easy to check in and out, which made everything stress-free. The space felt cozy, well-maintained, and relaxing after long days exploring Wanaka. The facilities were great and had everything we needed, and the location was convenient and peaceful. Overall, it was a really enjoyable stay and a great value for the price.

This is probably one of the best tan lodges I’ve been to in a while. The kitchen and refrigerator had designated space by room which is a huge plus.

It was such a great and cozy place for our one night stay. The location was great, the shared facilities were still pretty private so still felt comfortable. Everything was so clean and organized. The share room was a perfect place to hang late night before bed. Book it!
