Location was great , easy walking distance into the town,bus stop also very close for those who want to visit various parts of taupo, close to supermarkets and restaurants etc. Very near lake taupo for beautiful waliking outdoors. Owner is lovely host, very helpful, I would very happy to stay again. Great hot shower and warm heating

Good value. A basic 1970s motel but friendly, spacious, clean and well serviced. Free wifi, Sky tv. 2 blocks from the lake, 4 blocks from the Info Centre. Lovely walk along the Waikato river to Huka Falls takes about 1.5 hours.

helpful host, good location
a separate sink in the kitchen would have been really helpful for washing utensils as compared to washing in the bathroom sink

It was super cold at night! The layout was a bit weird and the blanket was super thin (we went in march, imagine in winter)
