Ideally situated close enough from the town to do shopping, find nightlife but far enough away to be quiet and relaxing. The room had everything I needed to make my stay comfortable and worry free.

This was a great place to stay. Location was excellent, just across the road from the lake and a great pizza spot. The guy who owns the place was very friendly, helpful and welcoming. Very good value for money. Accommodation was very neat and clean. Would definitely stay here again.

Very clean and tidy unit. Had everything I needed. Bed was comfy.
Im picking at straws, the only remotely negative thing I could say is the unit had few power points. I could not charge my phone near the bed.

The hospitality was wonderful. Very helpfull couldn't ask for better. Having a dog made us very at ease as so many places don't allow animals. It was great to have the park behind our unit.t
There was nothing really. We had trouble sorting the TV but that's our fault as we too old to understand modern technology

Enough room for luggage, comfortable bed and well equipped kitchen. Everything was clean and tidy, no visible wear too. Great location and owner is very friendly. Wifi's good too. Reception is open until late which was great as I could hike all day until it was dark, then travel to Taupo.
My room wasn't preheated, but it was due to small error with my prepayment. I got an upgraded room which was more than enough compensation. Also, the heater was very strong so don't worry about room temperature even in winter.
