Nice resort like hotel with spa pool
The room was much smaller than expected and located right next to the parking area, with very little privacy and high noise.
Room amenities were minimal — no body lotion provided and not even an extra bin in the room. The internet was extremely slow, making it difficult to use reliably. The bathroom door creaked loudly every time it was opened.
Housekeeping was also lacking as the bins were not emptied during room cleaning.

Nice hotel. Clean, modern, free pool.
Rotarua has no town centre as sutch so the hotel is a long way from anywhere to eat/drink

The beds and pillows were fantastic as was the room which was comfortable and warm. The hotel bar had a great vibe with a really knowledgeable bar tender (there just needed to be a couple more bar staff for a Saturday afternoon/early evening). The breakfast the next day was good value with a broad range of options. Lastly, the indoor pool was great especially given it was a bit rainy and cool
Ohh and the adult only spa was a great bonus especially as there were lots of children in the pool, so the spa provide a bit of an 'ahhhhh relax' moment.
