Location was good and the bed was comfy.
In all honesty, it was a bit bare bones. There were no extras like tea/coffee making facilities in the room, and not a cup or glass to be found in the room. Perhaps we should have read the amenities descriptions more closely beforehand? Breakfast was also a bit basic.

I loved my stay at the BnB. I felt so safe and comfortable as a solo female traveller. The private room had everything I needed. The location was excellent and staff were so friendly. I would definitely stay again!
It can be a little noisy (thin walls) and can often hear other guests/staff opening doors, walking around outside the corridor/communal areas and sometimes even your neighbours talking in the room next door. Not a big deal for me as it was minimal but I can see how some may be bothered by this

Someone burnt Toast in the toaster and set off the alarm but it was ok as firefighters came quickly and owner was quick to act and also reassure everyone Not really a dislike just some people st as ting there did a whoopsie

Loved the location and enjoyed the friendliest stay! Everyone at Lakes Lodge Rotorua is so kind and helpful. As a nervous lone female traveller of a certain age (!) I was so grateful for the help that was shown me here. I felt safe and welcome during my brief stay. I loved Rotorua: just being able to wander around the public park in awe of dynamic nature was a memory I will treasure. I will also never forget your kindness. Thank you so much.

The room was a great size and had lots of amenities in it.
Shampoo and conditioner were provided but body wash was not. It’s not essential but would’ve been nice :))

Excellent accommodation everything we needed and close to great restaurants and lakeside
Breakfast coukd have been a more comprehensive continental style .. just cereals yoghurt fruit toast and drinks . No pastries or meat and cheese.
