Nothing i would not recommend this place.
Before i arrived i heard that the motel was Emergency housing, so when i got to motel i asked the owner and she lied to my face, she said no that stoped 15 November and told me EMH is finished at this motel.
we arrived b4 check in time as we were dropping of our bags,
there were dirty washing bags and rubbish bags at the front door. We asked the cleaners if our room was done and she said yes, when we entered it smelled like arse, and it wasn’t even clean. It needs to be shut down and its not even healthy for the familys that actually live there. We didnt even sleep in our room because it felt like there were bugs in the bed and when you open the room window there was a big skip bin with rubbish over filling and around the bin.

Very big room with living area and comfortable. There was a good pool to use and you could do any washing you needed for free in the facilities available. Great value too.
It’s quite far from the main town but there are lots of shops across the road to use.

Comfortable new clean beds, clean sheets and towels, toiteries, full size fridge, Large room, Friendly Indian Family running the place were nice
Not NZ standard clean - Unfortunately windows real dirty and bathrooms could have been more clean, whole place needs a good deep clean, and was a problem with shower in one room too hot in 24 and another was cold in 4, also needs lock brackets on windows so can open a little.

Bed was very comfortable, room was spacious, staff were polite and did their best to respond to my queries. Tidy, good value for money, ground floor access.
No cloth to wash the dishes, had to ask for dish wash liquid, no tea towel. When asked for, I received dishwash liquid but was told they don't supply a cloth for washing dishes nor a tea towel. Had to use tissues and then drain dry. Only one proper chair to sit at the table for 2 of us (which doubled as a desk and eating table). When I asked for a chair they brought an armchair - it was ok. No flannel with the towel.

The pool was great for the 2 children we had with us.
Dated missmatched furnishings and it wasn't as clean as we had expected. We have an Airbnb accommodation and expected more for the price paid per night.

We received a booking confirmation but when we arrived they hadn’t received the booking. Booking.com provided options that were three times the price or not available. We had to drive 1 1/2 hrs for accommodation. Changing our trip plans.

Big red stains on the stairs in the 2 level apartment that appeared like blood when we first walked in. Upon further inspection looks like a juice or jam or such, but it was definitely off putting. Could do with some newer furniture and new paint to freshen the walls

Staff were friendly and helpful to sort issues
The staff are lovely yet they can't save this place. The rooms need a deep clean due to the smell. As soon as we entered the room had a bad stench and as it was a late check-in nothing could be done. There is no air con in the room, plus there weren't any curtains as well.
This place was used for emergency housing and is just scraping up. It definitely is not like what the photos are showing DO NOT GET CATFISHED.
Spend a bit more and enjoy your holiday, it will be worthwhile.
