Very Good
The location was nice. The rooms were large. Having a pool on site for the price was great.
It’s a bit dated. While cleaned, some maintenance is still needed like dents in the walls, aging silicone, loose fixtures. Single bits were a bit springy, but queen bed wasn’t terrible.

Minimum cutlery had one tablespoon no bowls or plate. Enough cups and mugs

Pretty affordable place! A “you get what you pay for” deal. In terms of cleanliness, it wasn’t the best (spider webs, mold, stains in places). Not so bad I felt the need to leave. I was happy enough. The room was big, the patio was nice, it felt safe enough (thankfully, since I am a solo traveller). Beats staying in a hostel. If you’re looking for a budget-friendly place, this is it—just don’t get your hopes up for 5-star experience.
Pretty dirty. Many webs, mold, dust, stains on bed, etc. Overall pretty outdated.

Very Poor
The location was great, literally a few minutes by car to the main town.
In all honesty, this is where the positively finishes as has to be on of the worst accommodation facilities we have ever stayed at and we travel a lot and have had better experiences in 3rd world countries.
Rooms along main road have single glazing, being on main road meant being subjected to the noise of vehicles passing, with numerous small engine cars with fart cans bolted on to the exughsts all night.
A commercial gym situated over the road appears to open and cater to a stereotype that needs to have loud music playing from around 5am.
Facilities although very basic lacked the most common facilities
~ Cups and no tea spoon
~ No toilet brush
~ No o forks or knife's
~ No heating.
~ Bins out side to empty room bin into as rooms not serviced
We were initially in room 29, that was adjacent to an access road for vehicles with a staff living area over the access, on a Saturday night the staff or owner decided to have a party with extremely loud music that was loud enough that we were unable to hold a conversation, watch TV or sleep.
We called reception and were provided another room at the opposite side of the corn yard, and had to move rooms at 1030pm unassisted.
After moving the music was still able to be heard and the new room was over 50m away..
The fact this was either staff or the owners with music blaring with no regards for guests paying to use the facilities we departed the accommodation early and forfeited the funds.
Rooms were old and showing there age, our room had broken handles on the windows so unable to open for fresh air, carpets were old and un kept. Range hood in rooms but no stove tops, Ceiling lights with multiple blown bulbs, wall lights with such low wattage made the rooms dim.
Parking was limited at entrance to rooms, additional parking available in an unsealed area behind the rooms with no dranage, this was inconvenient as the during our stay a cyclone was moving through the area and for nearly every one of the 4 nights we stayed from the 6 nights we paid for the rear parking area was flooded, and we needed to walk in water to get to and from the car as there was no street parking due to being on main roads.

The room was dusty, had plenty of cobwebs, and had a musty funky smell.

Disappointing
Location is good and beds were comfortable. The staff tried to accommodate with our concerns - gave extra towels, cleaned the rooms day 3. Use of laundry facilities was free.
Upon arrival at 4pm, four of our rooms were still not ready. Several rooms had stained linen, and we found cockroaches in four of them. Some rooms contained dirty dishes and even a half-finished bottle of wine when we checked in. We were also informed that rooms are only serviced every four days, which was challenging for our group of 37. Additionally, there were not enough cups or spoons in the rooms, and the family rooms did not have toasters as expected.

Pool was nice, beds were comfy.
The laundry facilities didn’t have a timer so we kept wandering around to see when they were finished. Would’ve enjoyed a few more amenities in the room

Nothing i would not recommend this place.
Before i arrived i heard that the motel was Emergency housing, so when i got to motel i asked the owner and she lied to my face, she said no that stoped 15 November and told me EMH is finished at this motel.
we arrived b4 check in time as we were dropping of our bags,
there were dirty washing bags and rubbish bags at the front door. We asked the cleaners if our room was done and she said yes, when we entered it smelled like arse, and it wasn’t even clean. It needs to be shut down and its not even healthy for the familys that actually live there. We didnt even sleep in our room because it felt like there were bugs in the bed and when you open the room window there was a big skip bin with rubbish over filling and around the bin.

Comfortable new clean beds, clean sheets and towels, toiteries, full size fridge, Large room, Friendly Indian Family running the place were nice
Not NZ standard clean - Unfortunately windows real dirty and bathrooms could have been more clean, whole place needs a good deep clean, and was a problem with shower in one room too hot in 24 and another was cold in 4, also needs lock brackets on windows so can open a little.

Very big room with living area and comfortable. There was a good pool to use and you could do any washing you needed for free in the facilities available. Great value too.
It’s quite far from the main town but there are lots of shops across the road to use.
