A really great budget option for Rotorua. It's a real basic room and older, but it worked perfectly fine for the two nights we were there.

The facility can do with a little TLC.
Staff was very friendly and helpful, even gave me some plant clippings.
It is very central and easy to walk / drive to places.

shower drain was blocked water would rise close to overflow. if you didnt shower quickly. Found baby cockroaches in the bed. holes in the carpet. window latches wouldn't close. ripped blinds.

I like the accommodation.It is really good. Beds are comfy and the room is very clean and Tidy. Vishu was very helpful and humble He helps us a lot. Next time I will definitely book the same accommodation Whenever I will visit the Rotorua in future.

Overall, I was satisfied with my experience. While the lodge itself is quite old and a bit shabby in appearance, the room was clean and surprisingly warm throughout the night—even when temperatures dropped below zero. That was a big plus.
The towels provided were a bit worn, so I used my own, but for around $90, I got a studio room with a double bed, private bathroom, and kitchen. For that price, you really can’t expect five-star luxury, but it definitely offers good value for a budget stay.

Value for money, have all the basics. Great location. Double bed is good, twin bed is too soft for me. Traffic is loud during the day, at night is quiet. Wi-Fi was pretty good for us.
Blind couldn't cover the window properly and light shined to bed. Hot water took a long time to start with. TV had no signal. Not much in the kitchen but ok for us.
