I had to check out a day early because of my schedule change. The staff were very concerned that there might have been a problem with my room.
The small window in the bathroom was not able to be securely closed therefore I was worried someone might me able to gain access. I put a small bit of stick to remedy.

Motel is in city. 10min to redwood forest and 30min to wai o topu.
Old building and parking infront of room was not easy. Not fully equipped kitchen as we couldn't find much of things in fridge or in terms of groceries. Airbnb would keep all groceries and required utensils. $250/night i felt is costly for the room.

Apart from staff member trying to charge me again for the stay, everything was OK.
Didn't like the fact that I had to park at front now motel by sidewalk and couldn't see my car from my room

I like it's so close to the hospital and the mineral pools.
The room the guy on reception said was an upgrade I didn't expect it to be a building site behind room. Was really noisy all night I managed to get a sleep at 3am till 5am gutted as I like this place and my third time of staying here.

Pool lovely, been here few years ago was very dated now i see it is getting done up.
Outside new deck area is a nice new addition.
Road noise, though i guess cant be helped.
Did not like we had to pay additional money to fill up spa in one bedroonm unit so did not use it.
For a coupke only.would like to see motels have the options of a one bedriom having no beds in lounge and more of a lounge suite. Extra beds unnecessary for a couple.

The location was good.
Poor parking and no hot water in the unit. We struggled to wash the dishes and couldn't take showers.

The motel is located just across from a nice park which hosts a market every Saturday. The park has a nice playground for the kids too. The heated pool at the motel is SO nice!

The beds were very comfortable. Great location within walking distance of town and amenities.
There was little to no hot water in the bathroom or the shower, which was disappointing. Overpriced for what the unit had to offer.

Pleasant
The room was a little tired and the net curtains dirty, but we/ just. Took them down for our stay. The rooms were comfortable and the staff excellent.
The, pool was fantastic.
