Amazing place to stay. Right on the water with kayaks and a hot tub. The room was excellent and they have a nice breakfast. It's in a quiet neighborhood about 10 minutes drive to town.

Great location on the lakefront. Room was just great and bed was very comfy. Bathroom was modern and with a jacuzzi. Breakfast was included and very nice.

This property is directly at the lake. We stepped out of our room to a small terrace and the lawn with lawn chairs. The lake was just 10 meters (30 feet) from our room. The property has a hot tub and a sauna, very clean and nice. They offer a decent breakfast for free. The staff is very friendly and happy which is nice to see. Very recommendable property

The location is great on the lake. It also has a sauna and hot tub by the lake.
The rooms are designed in a way to charge families more for their stay. We are a family of 2 adults and 2 children. Firstly we were given two rooms that were in different buildings despite asking to be near each other. Secondly one of the rooms (#4) was essentially two adjoining rooms but advertised as 3 occupancy with 1 queen and 1 single bed. The hotel could have easily make this 4occupancy by fitting 2 queen beds one in each adjoining room that is the same size. By not doing this they force families of 4 to purchase another room. This was different than our experience in other hotels in NZ.

It could be more friendly for later checking guests,as it’s difficult to find the road to drive in dark,even just 8:30pm. No light sign to see the hotel.

Fantastic staff, lovely breakfast. Lots of options such as spa, sauna, kayaking - we didn't have time to do so will have to come back. Great room with pool table, we played several times which was fun.
Bedding was quite hot, not keen on sleeping with sythentic covers - prefer natural fibres such as feather, cotton, wool. No cotton blankets available so we were given multipe sheets to use instead of a cotton blanket.

Perfect, homey, thought of everything. The staff was outstanding - Sheryl and Aaron were so warm and welcoming. The lodge feels so secluded, even though it’s right near town. Breakfast was outstanding, so many choices and excellent coffee.

The staff was very nice. She's so welcome and let us see the room before checking in to make sure that we're ok with it. Nice view from my room. The breakfast was delicious. It's a cozy place. Love it!

Fantastic location out of town but very easy and quick to get to. Lovely quiet location. Beautiful view over the lake. Staff extremely friendly. Nothing was a problem.

Staff, Breakfast, Views were all fabulous.
A paucity of electrical outlets in the room. The one lane driveway downhill to the hotel required diligence and patience, but there was very little traffic on the driveway so it worked out well.
